The cottage has been improved since our last stay there. The large tiled shower has replaced the bathtub. New doorknobs replaced the old, barely working ones. The cottage is very comfortable and cozy.

Pictures online did not do this house justice. House decorated nicely and the rooms were a good size. We didn’t feel cramped at all. Check in and out was smooth. Kitchen was well stocked. Access to the beach was great. We would definitely stay here again. Loved the welcome package for us and the dog.

Lovely retro cottage

This unit is one of 4 right on the beach with stairs up and over the dune to the ocean. No ocean view since they are one story hunkered down behind the dune. There is a space on top of the dune to sit, however. My only complaint was I had to mop something sticky off the kitchen floor when we arrived as it seemed the cleaners had not mopped. Linens are not provided but the hosts gave us a recommendation for a local rental company that is reasonably priced. The beds and furniture were comfortable. The TV and wifi worked fine. There is lots to do nearby. I believe we will book one of these units again.

Great getaway

This is the third time I've stayed in these cottages. The location is great with easy beach access and a great restaurant within walking distance. Easy communication with the host.

Perfect location. Close to beach and other attractions. A cabin experience rather than condo experience. Fun like camping with electricity and running water close by.

Perfect location

Dog-friendly two bedroom bungalow is perfectly situated to the beach, attractions, restaurants and such. Five small units are tucked between a large three-story house and a public access to the beach. My unit could’ve used updating and a really thorough cleaning before occupancy.

Great little beach getaway

Lovely old-style beach cottage just steps from the ocean… Gar Brooks was perfect for the two of us and the pup. The dune is high, so there’s no view from the porch, but it’s literally out the door, up the steps onto the dune, and there it is… a very nice stretch of beach leading down to the waves. Nice kitchen is well-equipped, and the location is great; close to shops and restaurants but tucked away from the hustle and bustle. The cottage was very clean and comfortable with a casual feel that’s just what we want at the beach. Owner left a nice little goodie bag that included treats us and for the dog. Hope we can visit again!

Relaxing week!

The cottage is adorable and well kept. It is convenient to grocery stores and restaurants. Loved the beach access and used it frequently during this rainy week which allowed us to maximize our beach time.

Excellent location

The cottage was just as described. It offered all the comforts of home and the location was perfect. The private beach access was wonderful, and we loved the chaise lounge chairs at the top of the private dune. The cottage was clean. I would recommend a door mat inside the kitchen door and working latches on the screen doors. We had our dog with us, and he could push the screen doors open with his nose. We would definitely stay again. The host was very friendly and kind. Thank you for sharing your cottages!!
