Celebrated my 30th birthday here with my boyfriend, sister and her 2 month old. Everything was clean. There was only 1 roll of toilet paper, however we called the host and they quickly sent over more. We appreciated their quick remedy. We were close to the town beach & loved Plum Pt. Bistro restaurant which was only a 7 min drive. This place was in a safe neighborhood. We would rent here again.

This home was one of the best rentals I've stayed in over the past 5-10 years I've been vacationing this way, and it isn't because it had a ton of bells and whistles. It felt like I was staying at a friend's home. Everything was clean but not in a "don't touch anything" way. The space was so inviting that I actually slept the first night we were there, which has never happened before. And the All-Seasons room is SO COMFORTABLE. It was my favorite place in the whole house. 100% recommend this property. It 20-30 minutes from a lot of fun activities and still secluded enough to take a break and recharge.

Pleasant Stay

The cottage was a pleasant stay and the outdoor screened porch was really nice. There is access to a private beach which is also nice. Beds could have been a little more comfortable.

Great house!

This house was perfect for our trip to the Newport area for Folk Fest. We didn't spend much time in the house or surrounding area but it filled our needs and offered much more. The beds (1 queen, 2 twins) were perfect for our family of 4.

The house suited the 5 (4 adults and 1 baby) of us just fine. It was very clean and has everything that you need for a stay. Just bring your food. The house is well situated to beaches, restaurants, shopping and events. If I need to stay somewhere again I would check the availability of this place.

Beautiful cozy cottage!

We loved the area of this cozy cottage. The bathroom trash wasn’t taken out when we arrived but the rest of the house was perfect. We loved the screened in porch area and spent so much time out there. Easy to get to Newport too! Definitely recommend staying!

Great Location

The location was perfect. The check in was a little tough as the people prior to us didnt check out on time and I had to message the host for the entry information (This may have been a VRBO error not the owner). The home was a little difficult to find in the dark as the driveway was on the side street. The home was as listed although two of the beds are sofa's. Plenty of room, porch was nice. Close to all Naragansett attractions.

Marriann, I'm so sorry to have heard you did not enjoy your stay. The review caught us by surprise as we have not had any reports of bad plumbing from any guest before you or since. We also did not receive any inquiries from you during your stay regarding any issues. Could you please let me know what plumbing issues you had so I may have them addressed? Thank you!

The house had a noticeable musty odor, and several kitchen cabinet doors were in poor condition. There were paint cans left outside, and the yard wasn’t particularly kid-friendly. Overall, the experience felt overpriced given the condition of the property.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We truly appreciate hearing from our guests, even when it gives us the chance to improve. The property is regularly maintained, so feedback about odor and cabinet wear is unexpected but helpful—we’ll certainly look into it further. Regarding the yard, many families have enjoyed it in the past, but we’d love to hear your suggestions on what might have made it feel more kid-friendly for your visit. As for the paint cans, they were left out for scheduled pickup in accordance with town ordinances for recycling, though we apologize if their presence gave the wrong impression. We genuinely value your input and are always striving to provide a comfortable stay that reflects the value of the property.

Just fine

This house was fine for its intended use, a place to sleep. Although it appeared clean, its needs some major updating from the kitchen to the bedrooms and the bathroom. I’m sure it was clean but just looked dirty bcs many features are outdated. The bedroom doors don’t properly close and rub on the floor. The bathroom door was also too big and there weren’t any safety railings in the shower. There is also a huge heating vent on the floor that looks like something out of a horror movie. We didn’t cook except for breakfast and the toaster was old and dirty. Beds were also uncomfortable. Poor lighting and pathway from driveway to the door.

LOVED every minute. Had to call about getting the TV to work but like a few lamps at the adorable little house, it was unplugged. Easy solution. The Blue Hydrangeo has everything you need and was perfect for my husband and our adult daughter. We had a refreshing swim in the Narrow River down the way. Can't say enough and would like to thing we'll get back to the area again in the future.
