Discover this newly remodeled (in 2024) Oceanfront 1-bedroom gem in Kailua-Kona. This sought after condo offers discrete luxury living right on the Pacific Ocean. Watch the sunset with uninterrupted views directly from your lanai, watch the whales breaching without even leaving your condo! Our condo was fully remodeled in 2024 to include new luxury vinyl plank flooring, shiplap feature walls, new kitchen countertops, all new appliances and furniture, and a new master bathroom. This luxury unit features a brand new memory foam king size bed and a queen size sofa bed, perfect for families with younger kids.  The living room offers an additional custom built king size murphy bed for extra sleeping space. Enjoy amenities like super fast WiFi, Air Conditioning in the bedroom and living room, a full size washer & dryer, 60" flat screen smart TV, and a fully equipped kitchen... This unit really has all the luxury comforts to make your home away from home on the Big Island, and enjoy all that Hawaii has to offer!

Our condo is located in one of the premier condo resorts on the Big Island - Kanaloa at Kona, set on an expansive 18 acres ocean front parcel surrounded by the beautiful Kona Country Club golf course. The complex has 3 pools with spas, including an amazing ocean front pool, a family friendly pool, and an adult only pool. There are 2 lighted tennis/pickleball courts, ping pong table, common club house, and outdoor BBQ facilities sprinkled throughout the beautiful landscaped gardens.

We are a very short drive to the Keauhou Shopping complex, which as a KTA supermarket, Longs Drugs, restaurants, shops, and even a movie theater. Keauhou Bay is just around the corner and is home to Manta Point, where the famous night manta ray snorkeling takes place. Magic Sands beach is only a 5 minute drive away, and the cute seaside town of Kailua is only 13 minutes away and has plentiful options for eating, drinking, and shopping. Only 15 minutes drive south is the world class snorkeling at Captain Cook's.

This was one of our favorite VRBO’s and had all the elements we were looking for in a Hawaii condo — view of the ocean from the balcony, bright, clean, beautiful design, close to pickleball courts, a swimming pool, and a quiet location, but still not far from town. Great, communicative owner. Hope to come back every year — truly outstanding!

The condo was perfect for our family of four. It was very nice and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the amazing view of the sunsets from the lanai and enjoyed the amenities available on the grounds. It was a nice community and in a great location just at the end of town but close enough to downtown Kailua. Host was timely responding to any communication. We would definitely stay again in the future.

We have been hosting since 2010, when we had 3 luxury villas in Bali, Indonesia. We now have a condo in Hawaii, and our A Frame Cabin in Mammoth that we host in.
