This house is very comfortable and is close to the center of Woods Hole. We had several questions regarding the house and received prompt and courteous responses from the owners. The neighborhood is quite lovely, and we chatted a bit with some of the residents. All in all, we had a very relaxing time there.

We had a wonderful time at this cottage. It has everything you need for a welcome summer break. The owners have prepared a well-stocked home, and are easy to contact. The house is on a quiet street in walking distance to town and beach. It was a great break for our multiage group!

In Woods Hole for a meeting

Trip to the MBL

We were a group of scientists attending a conference at the MBL. The house and location are perfect for this type of trip. Easy access to Woods Hole and the MBL in a very quiet spot.

Three weeks in Gansett Woods.

Best room in house: bright tv room. Short walk to Gansett Beach. Good downstairs bathroom. Outdoor shower.

Stayed here with my husbands family, a street away from where his mother grew up. The house is cozy and quirky, enough room for us to hang out, and have good conversation. Beautiful back yard, and a nice short (though hilly) walk into woods hole. A slight hick up with not having the door code sent to us, but the property manager had it to us within an hour. Nice to see all of the personal touches- kitchen stocked with spices, sugar, flour, lots of towels, that made it easy to enjoy our vacation and not have to buy items that we only need a dash of. The house has window air conditioner units that do keep the bedrooms cool, but the living areas do get a little stuffy on warm days. We were a little disappointed to see the outdoor shower was open, so we couldn't get all of the sand off when coming in from the beach but none of these things ruined our stay. The home and manager are lovely.

We were so happy with our stay here! Four adults and two teenagers, and we never felt on top of each other. We were able to walk down to Woods Hole and Nobska lighthouse. Every time I messaged a question, I got a super quick response! We hopefully look forward to going back again!

Very nice house. Some complications with owner.

This is a very nice, well kept, and charming house. The kitchen is not adequate for serious cooking. The owners apparent preoccupation that everything be exactly right and requirement that the house be cleaned up in advance of departure (towels washed, beds stripped) before professional cleaner come in was off putting.

Fantastic Summer Getaway

We had a great stay and enjoyed being close to Woods Hole Village and the beach. The house is tidy and well equipped to handle a family (well setup kitchen, plenty of plates + utensils, linens etc.). This place is a great basecamp for summer adventures or to just hang out at.

Cozy House in the Perfect Spot

Our family of four spent a week here and absolutely loved it. The house is charming, with a rustic older half and a more modern 2-story addition. The older half has a lovely sitting room lined with bookshelves, and a kids room with plenty of fun games. The modern half has a large bathroom, TV room, and comfortable bedrooms. The whole place is great and nestled in a beautiful woodsy area of Cape Cod. We were able to walk to the center of Woods Hole (try Pie in the Sky - delicious!!), and getting to the beach was so easy. All the Falmouth beaches and Main Street are a quick drive away, too. Tania is an excellent host and was easy to reach (especially when a hurricane struck at the start of our trip!). We are so glad we stayed here.

Charming! A quintessential Cape Cod home.

My husband and I, along with my brother and sister in law, brought my mother to the Cape to celebrate her 80th birthday . The house is not only beautiful inside and out but is also conveniently located so that we were able to walk into town -this house is a true gem! My mother’s birthday celebration trip was a huge success, made so much more so because of the beautiful house we stayed in.

Beautiful Cottage in Woods Hole

We thoroughly enjoyed our week staying in this lovely cottage in Woods Hole. This comfortable cottage has everything needed to fully experience life in Woods Hole, with warm, well- appointed living spaces for meditating, reading, playing games, and dining. It is located on a quiet street within easy walking distance to the town and several beaches.

This is a family summer retreat cottage, originally purchased in 1967 when our father was doing research at the Marine Biological Laboratories. The cottage has become a very special place for our family, where children & grandchildren come to enjoy a bit of summer. Woods Hole is a charming, lovely town - perfect for families!
