Great townhome with cozy living space
We arrived in the evening and the area was sufficiently lit. The lock box is on the side of the garage, not the front door. There was snow piled up on the way to the front door as the snow clearing service clears the driveway/lot, not the pathway to the door/stairs.
The living area is cozy and warm with the beautiful fireplace that heats the area nicely. The rooms are nicely spread out. The loft area with the bunk beds is open to the living area below, so we didn't have our son sleep on the bunk beds even though he really wanted to because we thought he would be disturbed by the light/sound from the adults in the living area below.
The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. We never heard neighbors (though hard to know if they were even around). The loft area also had some games provided, one of which was one we had never played and really enjoyed!
The home was close to downtown Truckee and a short drive to ski resorts, which is why we were in town.
Our last night at the house we lost power due to wind/snow in the area, which was not restored by the time we checked out. We were still able to find a lighter to use the gas stove to cook breakfast before heading out of town since the restaurants were also out of power.
We enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back in the future!
