We appreciated several aspects of our stay, particularly the excellent location, the outdoor amenities, the cleanliness of the home, the updated décor, and the convenience of having four bathrooms.That said, there were a few areas where improvements would have made our stay more comfortable, especially for a group of eight. The kitchen was minimally stocked for cooking meals and lacked basic items such as grilling accessories. The dishwasher did not have a designated place for silverware, and while an iron was provided, there was no ironing board. There were only seven plastic plates for a group of eight, and towel quality was quite basic.Seating was limited, with insufficient dining and living room seating for eight guests—there was only one average-sized couch. Linens were also lacking; there were not enough pillowcases for the number of pillows provided, and when we requested four additional pillowcases, only two were delivered.We also experienced a maintenance issue that was not resolved during our stay. The light in the owner’s locked closet—located within one of the bedrooms—was left on, and the light shone through the door at night. We were told housekeeping would be sent to unlock the door and turn off the light, but this did not occur.Communication around check-in could be improved.
