The shower was nice just cooler water .the bathroom very nice and clean .when you turn on the heater black stuff comes out of it .

Loin de la ville, pas de commerce de qualité, quartier médiocre. Douche froide tous les jours. Très bruyant (on entend les voisins et l’extérieur), lumière toute la nuit dehors sans volet. Pas de machine à café ce qui est le minimum. En compensation, nous avons demandé à partir une heure plus tard et le propriétaire nous l’a refusé.

Clean room and bathroom, location is far from the city but if you know New York then you’ll know that. If not from there, search your commute. Everything was great. Only gave 4 stars because my shower was hot only 2 times. Other times, lukewarm even. However, Manager was proactive and quick about helping the problem.

The studio was small but comfortable and very clean. The location is excellent: just a block from Rockaway Beach, close to great restaurants, and convenient to the S train. I’d also recommend taking the ferry to Manhattan for incredible skyline views—it’s within walking distance from the property.The neighborhood felt a little sketchy at first glance, but it was quiet at night, and I had no problems during my stay. Check-in and check-out were seamless with clear instructions, and the host was very responsive to my messages.Overall, a clean, comfortable, and well-located spot for enjoying the beach and exploring the Rockaways.

Simplicity is something thatbI can appreciate. The room had everything I needed for this short trip. The bathroom (in my opinion) had a wonderful anesthetic. The white on white tile was beautifully thought of. The proximity to the train station was top teir. In addition, the property manager was very attentive and responsive when messaging.I would recommend the stay here.

Nothing fancy, and not as "cute" as the photos make it seem. Walking in there was a bunch of random glass and building materials in the hallway, creaky stairs, etc. The walls/doors are also PAPER THIN so expect to hear other guests if you stay here (i woke up to kids screaming a lot and some ppl playing loud music - they do have earplugs in the room though). There are two shuttered/closed down restaurants below the hotel, which gave it a sorta sad vibe. Otherwise, excellent location, easy 2block walk to the beach, and not too pricey

Overpriced, dangerous, dirty, cold, no staff on premises

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: There are rats around the property and it is adjacent to a low-security mental health facility that has some questionable characters hanging out around the property. The door was manually locked when I arrived and I had to wait almost 2 hours in the rain for someone that lived over 25 miles away to open the door. When I went to take a shower, there was no hot water and there was no hot water for the rest of the stay. When I turned on the heater, some disgusting black stuff was released and flew all over the room.I asked for a token refund amount to recognize these inconveniences and downright negligence and the property management company refused.This place has some serious drug-den vibes and is located on top of a restaurant that plays live music until late.Does this sound like a place you want to stay?

unique, artsy, cool, comfortable

This place is absolutely gorgeous. First, the location is super central and could not be better for a weekend in the Rockaway’s. The experience staying there was easy and seamless. But what’s super special about it is the rooms - unique, artsy, cool, comfortable. Can’t wait to come back later this summer.

truly an amazing studio

Quiet, cool and a perfect location, we plan to head back for sure. Large bathroom, beautiful shower and available AC among thoughtful touches like extra towels, bottled water and a mini-fridge! Lovely! We will stay again.

This studio is absolutely charming

Really quintessential and homey boutique hotel a few blocks from the beach and a block away from 98th stretc subway station. Rockaway Blvd has amazing restaurants, and it feels like you've been transplanted outside new york city! Loved the high tide and excited for them to grow!
