The Vrbo was very spacious and close to great amenities! There is a beautiful walking trail minutes from the home. Overall I would recommend this vrbo and would stay again.

Perfect place for us to get settled on our east coast adventure. Super clean, quick to get downtown and out of town. Rooms were a good size, maybe a little hot at night without AC on spicy summer days.

The house was perfect for us as we were at a family wedding and it was large enough to accommodate the whole family and convenient to the venue. The front steps could use some paint.

Comfortable home base

We enjoyed our 2-night stay. The location was great. We had easy access to the Halifax waterfront and numerous sites. The interior space was A bit tight for three couples but it worked out well. There’s a steep staircase that people should anticipate. Overall, pleasant and comfortable.

Mid range

The neighborhood was nice. Overall it was clean, but could use a little more attention to detail in the bathrooms. The front steps look bad and need to be repainted, the stair railing on the top floor is loose and could be a concern for an accident. We had a nice stay.

The property was clean but very outdated. The building was in need of repairs and updating. The bed in the « fourth » bedroom in the basement needs to be replaced as it was the least comfortable sleep. Also in the basement was a toilet inside the laundry/utility room. The front window has rust streaks down the outside. Part of our family only stayed one night so we moved up to the main bed and that was better. I would not bill this as a four bed rental unless the basement room and bath are repaired and upgraded. As I said the property was clean. When travelling we always look for welcome / checkout information yet there was none to be found. The communication was limited to providing the code for arrival. I do not feel this property was worth what that we paid for two nights.
