Anchorage retreat

We had an amazing stay. Wish we would have had more time to spend in this amazing spot. We enjoyed the deck and walking the near by trails.

Great and safe stay in Anchorage

Fantastic house, great location and excellent communication with owner. Great for overnight stay and comfortable beds. Safe location and ample room for small group, we had 6 adults. Awesome area to get some outdoor exercise and great views of the ocean are mins away.

Ernie is great to work with. He is quick to respond and provide information. The house was quiet and spacious with nice rooms for my 3 adult kids to spread out. The location was perfect, providing access to a park and the sea walk. The airport was easy to access from this location.

Ancorage comfort

Quiet, comfortable, room enough for everybody. Clean & very well equipped. 15 minutes from airport and 20 to downtown. We're coming back!

Cozy home

This place was perfect for one couple, a sister and her two young adult kids and our dad. So clean, much appreciated. The yard was gorgeous in June and the neighbors were friendly. A park was near by and also town was less than 10 mins to get to. Highly recommend. Thanks for having us.

Very accommodating

We enjoyed our one night stay while heading to an Alaskan cruise. It suited all of our needs with plenty of room which was great. Ernie was quick to respond to any questions we had with informative information ! It all worked out perfectly for us ! Thank you again !

Located in a residential area not far from a waterfront park. Location was nice and quiet.The property is definitely dated. Two rooms in the lower level basement and two in the first floor. Basement level is a painted concrete floor with rugs. We saw a few bugs in the bathroom down there.Small spaces in kitchen/dining/living areas, but it served its purpose for us as a quick one night stay before an early flight.

This property is in the best location. Very close to down town but also close the the coastal trail and a great park. Appreciated access to the washer and dryer and the back deck! The house was clean and well cared for. You can hear people walking upstairs if you are sleeping downstairs. There was no issues checking into our unit, but someone checking into the B unit was confused and entered ours in the afternoon. We had the door open to let in the light. The host was gracious about a broken coffee cup, which I really appreciated. I would stay here again.

Uh, oops

I got there at 6:30 and entered with code number I was given. Clearly there were still people staying there when I arrived. Cell phone and computer still on table. Suit cases still in bedrooms. I left and booked a hotel. I still have not hear back from host after emailing . I will be applying for a refund when I get back to the office.

VRBO double booked . When we arrived ,we entered the house to find another family. The host/owners did everything they couid but VRBO FAILED and left 5 girls on the street in Anchorage with no where to go .After. 2 hours on the phone on 4th of July, VRBO did nothing to help and were very horrible to us . The hosts offered to pay for a place for us since VRBO did not but being 4th of July there was nothing available with the same amount of rooms forcing us to drive 2 hours late at night . VRBO ruined our 4th of July and left us in a dangerous situation. Maybe they will read this and decide to help us now or give us future credit but so far , nothing . The house looked beautiful and the hosts were lovely
