Went up to the Fryeburg/North Conway area for a fall weekend. Had a wonderful time at this cozy little home nearby all the happenings! Would definitely recommend this place!

Nice getaway in the heart of everything!

Great location and cozy home

The location was excellent. We took walks to the near by ski area/snow park. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had all the cooking equipment we needed. The owner and housekeeper were very responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

What a great getaway!

The property owner, Dave, was very pleasant and accommodating! He responded quickly and was helpful. The house was cute, clean and perfect for our family getaway! The location is super convenient and centrally located. But also felt secluded at the same time! Very peaceful area! We would definitely stay in this house again if our travels bring us back to North Conway!

Wonderful weekend with family! The House is accessible and comfortable for multigenerational getaway! There was even a lift lounge chair which made my wife so happy! She uses a walker and was so pleased to be able to be able to get around easily, sleep comfortably, put her legs up and access the house with the ramp. The house is cute cozy and welcoming. Even the bathrooms were safe. We highly recommend this lodging! It is conveniently located to everything that N Conwzy has to offer but tucked away. We enjoyed the fire pit abd grilling too! We took our grand daughter to Haunted Storyland! This is forever one of our favorite fall trips!

Bare minimum to rent a house

It seems like this was an in-law house for an elderly relative and they're now trying to monetize it. It's in a quiet and wooded area which was nice. Also a great lawn for kids. Unfortunately, they neglected to inform us that there were no towels. The house also has carpet throughout that left it smelling a bit musty. I would not rent again.

The house was cute but it didn't feel like a cleaning service came in to clean the house before hand. There were water stains on the living room wall, the shower tub drain was clogged and took about 30 minutes to drain. The beds were super comfortable but most of the pillows were very limp and seemed like they were a few years old. Honestly the house was nice but could use some more love and update a few cosmetic things. The location was great, only a few minutes from the center of town, and the house is located in a nice quiet neighborhood.

Looked for quiet place with a little charm to it. This was perfect and it was easy to rent. The instructions were clear and everything worked out well.

Nice place

House is a little outdated, very old carpets, master bathrooms shower is so small I couldn’t turn around in it, kind of annoying to pay so much money and have to drive the trash to the dump ourselves and strip beds. Didn’t feel very clean but was a nice size for our family and had what we needed. Close to many nice places.

Great North Conway Location

This house is located in a perfect location for a North Conway vacation. Far enough away from the traffic in a nice quiet location, yet close enough to get to anywhere you want to go. Dave is a great host, very kind and caring, makes you feel welcome and Andrea does a great job of keeping the place spotless! We will definitely be checking in again! Can’t wait!

The owners reached out to me a few days before my visit to make sure I was all set. When I arrived the house was clean and just as expect. Great place to stay to experience the areas.

Absolutely perfect!

We stayed a week at this residence on our yearly family trip to North Conway. It was the four of us...myself, husband and our 2 & 4 year old. It was the perfect size and I loved the layout. No stairs or anything for my toddlers to get into. The only critique is that in one of the bedrooms a dresser is right by the door which inhibits the door from opening all of the way. When entering the room, my 4 yr old wasn’t anticipating it and smashed her head into the door knob since her forehead is at that height. That was the only “issue” I had. Other than that it was perfect! Fully equipped kitchen, clean, homey and quiet area! So close to everything and the window ACs weren’t even needed a lot since the ceiling fans worked their magic (and it was hot that week!). Our two kids were sobbing when we had to leave “the vacation house” and keep asking when we can visit again. Thank you for opening your home to us! You helped us enjoy a much needed Family vacation and have so many memories from it!

Perfect location for our vacation!

We loved this house! I was traveling with my husband, mother, and three young children (7, 4, and almost 2). We arrived late and were pleased to find our beds made up and everything neat and clean. Our daughters slept in the first bedroom with two twin beds. My husband and I took the baby in one of the king bedrooms, and my mother took re remaining king. We were on the road most of the time we stayed, but loved having a place close by to downtown, but far enough away that we didn't have to deal with traffic. The living room had plenty of seating and the unit was fully air conditioned (window units) so we were comfortable even though it was August. There were plenty of kitchen tools to allow us to cook in the unit and I personally liked that I could do most or our laundry before we went home. I had the chance to talk to the owner a couple of times and he was very accommodating and pleasant. We are hopeful to be able to stay again the next time we're in town!

Unusual requirements

This house did not furnish towels, nor a blow dryer. We had to go shopping the first night we arrived to purchase these items. We have rented many other houses & this is the first time we have been required to do this. Also we were given a choice to pay for trash removal or remove it ourselves. Another surprise. We arrived to unmade beds with the sheets being folded in a stack in the middle of the bed. The house was well located to the downtown; it was clean & comfortable. In fact, when we arrived, the carpets were still wet from being shampooed. Overall, I don’t feel people that travel from far away - and not by car - should be required to furnish standard items.
