Amazing Stay in PTown

Gary's Penthouse was amazing!! Terrific water views, clean apartment with everything we needed and Gary was incredibly responsive to us. A wonderful stay!

Great stay in Ptown

Wonderful Ptown condo, centrally located and with an incredible view. My friend and I shared the space and it was perfect. So comfortable, super clean and with a view to die for. Gary was very communicative and so easy to deal with. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Filthy

We got to the spot after 6 hours of driving. The host was miserable. When we got to the apartment the couch had dirty stains all over it, while it was an uncomfortable futon that made the stains more disgusting. I asked for a blanket to cover it and he said, “It’s the end of the season, what do you expect.” Terrible and mean even more after that. Said get a last minute stay somewhere and we’ll give your money back. Our conference was starting the next day and it was too much; very little accommodations left. Never again. I have pictures to back up my claim. Nasty host.

Owner's response: "Carl, the right vacation home is everything, and we're disappointed if this wasn't the one for you. - We are here for all our guests and we try to work with all of them if there are issues, I do not feel it is necessary for name-calling, and consider myself a reasonable person who is easygoing. We offered to refund you the remaining days if you wanted to check out, we were not being rude we just wanted to make you happy. - We understand that there was a stain on the couch and we have taken care of removing that stain. We would not have made any comments about the end of the season or what do you expect. We would have made arrangements to get you additional blankets if needed. - To all potential guests, we provide a clean and comfortable space to make memories with family and friends. We have a long list of guests who have shared kind words and given us 5 stars!We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests. We will continue to deliver the 5-star experiences we are known for."

AC broken, found out on arrival (not prior to)

We arrived at our property to have the owner tell us the air conditioning was broken - something that he almost certainly knew prior to our arrival to the apt but did not disclose until we were there. We had turned down a fabulous apt that was bigger and had a better location because the host was upfront about issues with the deck ahead of time, so it was unfortunate to have another host be less than transparent and us be stuck with the property without AC. He did install a window unit prior to our arrival, but it did nothing for the bedrooms, so we had to sleep with the windows (and blinds as they made noise in the wind if left closed) open - this was very noisy and made it hard to sleep for everyone! The weather was not that hot, so I think the host thought it wouldn’t matter if the AC was out, but it was a top floor unit and made quite a difference. That being said, the deck outside overlooks the water and is a lovely spot for coffee in the morning.

We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following: Our split AC system was down before your arrival, but we replaced it with a window unit for your stay. We do apologize that you were not completely comfortable during your trip. The normal AC units have been fixed and we do not foresee this being an issue for future guests. Wonderful week in Ptown

Wonderful property in Ptown. Super close to everything. Great view of the water. Owners have really thought through all the details of what makes for a great guest stay... from the keypad entry into the unit so you don't have to worry about keys for the week, to quality towels and linens, to even some laundry detergent for the washer. One of the best properties I've stayed at.

Beautiful View and Location

This third floor unit is just a couple houses up from Commercial, and offers 180 degree views of the ocean. Tiny kitchen was functional with all necessary items on hand. Keurig with pods provided. Owner nearby, so a request for an extra blanket was met within minutes. Only criticism is the furnishings in the living area...the red couch is not too comfortable or cozy for lounging. The only other seating was two small wicker chairs. (There is also a table with chairs.) If there were more than two people, there really isn't enough comfy seating for hanging out in the evening with a glass of wine. In good weather, the deck chairs provide a great place to sit, and the view is amazing.

Perfect Spot!

Gary made arrival and departure easy. Apartment was terrific - perfect for our stay. Clean, comfortable beds, sufficiently sized living area. Deck view is fantastic! Close to all activity on Commercial Street, yet far enough away to feel not in the thick of things when you don't want to be. Parking available and easy access to car (though we never used it). For fitness folks, a gym is less than 100 yards away at the end of the street. Would definitely rent again.

Wonderful Spot with Great Views

This is a beautiful apartment with spectacular views of Provincetown and the bay. The space was clean, and the sun coming through all the windows made it a very bright, cheerful place to wake up every day. You do have to walk up three flights of stairs to get to the unit, so it's not be the best choice for someone with mobility problems. For us it was great, though. Central location, great views, friendly owner--all in all, a very positive experience.

Great Place To Stay

Great location, very friendly hosts! It was our first time in Ptown and I could not have asked for a better place to stay. We were literally steps away from all the shops, restaurants, and entertainment. The place was comfortable and clean. And...the best part...the view from our window and outdoor deck were AMAZING!!! We highly recommend staying here.

Location, convenience, and what a view!

Had a great stay for bear week. The view and location can't be beat. The hosts were always available and very welcoming and accommodating. The washer and dryer in unit was an amazing bonus. While the kitchen and bedrooms are a little shy on storage space for food and clothing, the penthouse private deck can't be beat!

Great location, view and hosts!

The property was just as nice as depicted in the photos - bright, clean and airy in a location that was central but still quiet. The hosts could not have been nicer or more helpful! I have given them 5 stars but there are a LOT of stairs (the only way to get up tp all that sun and air!) so that might be a concern for some people. If you are OK with stairs, it s a fabulous spot!
