We rented Dianne’s house for 8 nights and had a wonderful stay in El Salvador! The beds were comfy, with plenty of pillows! Well stocked kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. Super nice having hot water in two of the showers, and A/C in the bedrooms for sleeping. The house is large, with plenty of comfortable areas to relax, visit, eat, play games, etc. The yard is lovely, with nice tropical plants and trees for shade. We really enjoyed the pool. It is cleaned daily, and is surprisingly cool and refreshing. Overall, we enjoyed the area and the friendly El Salvadoran people. Be prepared to drive slowly on the dusty roads, and to carefully navigate speed bumps and wandering dogs. There is plenty to see and do, and places to eat, both in and out of the neighborhood. We loved visiting several of the Cadejo breweries, and climbing the Santa Ana volcano. You can walk quite far in either direction along the beach, and find bars and restaurants here and there. There is a bit of washed up trash, since no resort clean-up, but the water is warm and clear, the waves are fun, and there is no seaweed. Even on weekends, the beach is not too crowded. Views and sunsets are amazing! Dianne is a wonderful host! She is quickly responsive to needs, concerns and questions. And she is very helpful and friendly, with her priority being that her guests have a terrific stay at her house. Little extras like pool toys, boogie boards, games, etc. were so appreciated! Thank you, Dianne!
