Welcome to 4 C’s Lantern Village Beach Cottage! Located in the heart of the Lower Lantern District of Dana Point, this single-story retreat offers coastal charm and convenience. Just a short walk from Dana Point’s stunning beaches, Harbor, local restaurants, and trolley stops, it’s the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. After a day of exploring, gather around the firepit for s’mores under the stars or unwind on the cozy patio. Book now—your retreat awaits!

The property offers a driveway with parking for one vehicle. Plus additional street parking is available.

As a guest, you will have full access to the entire home, all conveniently located on one level. For your ease and security, you’ll receive a keypad code to access our smart front door lock—no need to worry about carrying keys. You’ll also be provided with a garage clicker for easy access to the garage. All codes are randomly generated, securely stored, and deleted after every check-out to ensure your safety.
House Rules:
1. No Smoking:
Smoking or vaping is strictly prohibited anywhere on the property — inside or outside. Dana Point is a smoke-free community, so this includes patios, backyards, and all outdoor spaces. A $2,500 fee will be charged for any violation, along with any additional fines imposed by the City of Dana Point.
2. Primary guest must be 25 years of age or older to book.
3. Pet Policy
We allow one hypoallergenic dog under 25 lbs with prior approval.
To request approval, please provide the following:
• A photo of your dog
• Confirmation that they are hypoallergenic
• Their weight (must be under 25 lbs)
* If approved, a $330 additional cleaning fee will apply.
Please note: Pets are not allowed on any furniture (including beds, couches, and chairs). Additional cleaning or damage fees may apply if this rule is not followed.
4. No Cats Allowed:
Unfortunately, due to severe family allergies, we are unable to accommodate cats. Thank you so much for your understanding!
5. Service Animal Exception:
We have a granted exception that allows us to decline service or emotional support animals that are not hypoallergenic, due to medical necessity.
• Non-hypoallergenic dogs and all cats are not permitted.
• If you plan to bring a service animal, please let us know ahead of time so we can properly prepare the home.
6. Quiet Hours:
• Please keep noise to a minimum between 10 PM – 7 AM out of respect for our neighbors.
7. Mid-Stay Cleaning
• A mid-stay cleaning around the end of week 2 is required and will be covered by us ($130 value, or $180 if a dog is approved). We’ll reach out to coordinate a day and time.
• For stays longer than one month, a biweekly cleaning is required and will be arranged at the guest’s expense.
• Additional cleanings are also available upon request (guest-covered).
8. Furniture & Wall Policy: Please DO NOT move furniture, and nothing should be taped or hung on the walls. Any personal items or furniture brought onto the property must be removed before checkout. A $200 fee will apply if these conditions are not followed.
