Ocen view room, side balcony but closest to beach. Unit could have been cleaner, floors especially. We also extended our stay and had to keep getting multiple new door access codes.

This was the perfect location for our fall break trip. Loved having coffee with a view of the beach and ocean. We got to see dolphins and manatees! Communication with property management was excellent. Condo was clean and comfortable. Close to food and entertainment. We really couldn’t ask for anything more!

The condo was beautiful. The location was great. We will stay again but I wished we would have known about how to get into the complex before we got there. The first couple of days we were making U turns to get in. The balcony really needs some lighting. Also wished there was a hot tub at the pool. (I know out of your control.) But again we will be staying at Sandy Shores again.

Family weekend

The location was fantastic, walking distance to John’s pass with a nice beach view. The cleanliness is where I feel the condo lacked, as my 1 year old was playing on the floor and his feet were black and full of stand even before we went to the beach. Also would have liked to see bath soap and more kitchen supplies, for example not just one paper towel roll and condiments would have been nice to cook with. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Good location, unit needs upkeep

The location of the unit was wonderful and within walking distance of most everything we needed. The unit itself could use some attention. There were issues addressed with the company about some minor maintenance that needs done. But the unit could really use a good cleaning. It was obvious that only the bare minimum was done between cleanings. If these things are addressed it would be a fine place to stay.

Property was very nice !! Everything that the pictures and ad described . The resort is working hard to recover from last years damage but their hard work is paying off . I talked to a couple maintenance guys that were there working every day and let me tell you they are busy with getting the grounds back in shape and landscaping . The beach was very easy access and the pool was open and looking good . Great time and we would definitely stay here again .

First family vacation!

Our stay was absolutely fantastic. The convenience, courtesy, and cleanliness of our VRBO exceeded our expectations. I can’t say enough! We traveled with our two daughters for the first time and it was importantly to me to find a clean safe area with a pool and nearby attractions. This checked every box!

Great location

The condo is very nice and in the perfect location. Walk out the back and directly on the beach. Walk out the front and cross the street and you are in the middle of John’s Pass shops and restaurants. There is laundry available but not in the unit. It is by floor and is pay per use so if you plan to do laundry take quarters. This was a bit of a surprise as the listing read to me as if the laundry was in the unit and was one of the reasons I booked it. Overall, great place and location. I would recommend staying here.

Not as expected.

In fairness this is not the condo we booked. We were told that the property we booked was undergoing renovations and this property was considered an upgrade. Not happy with the location. We picked the initial property for the location. Not happy with the size. It was very cramped; we could not fit our suitcase on the floor of the second bedroom. Overall, the property was "ok". The property we initially select was rated very good and this property good- which I think it was "good".

Family weekend getaway

Everything was as expected. Great location & very safe! Gorgeous sunsets! We did have an unexpected fire sprinkler inspection & they came in our unit at 8a.m. Never received email or warning. Then fire alarms continued to go off all day starting at 9:30a.m. Other than that, great.

Amazing location and room, security of resort overall is lacking

This trip (w/ my two toddler kids & husband) & condo could have easily been a 5-star rating but the security of the resort overall ruined it for us. The location & the accessibility of the rental owners were amazing. But, we were extremely disappointed with the ending of our family vacation and the overall security of Sandy Shores. The last day of our trip the pool area was pretty busy with other families and guests. There was also a group of teenagers under the covered deck playing loud, offensive music and playing beer pong. This teenage group had half of the pool chairs and all of the shaded areas "reserved" for their party - even though the pool sign states - no outside guests, no reserving spots and no playing music over a speaker. The teenager in charge of the party stated her grandma owns a condo and she can basically do whatever she wants. She had multiple friends (about 50 to be exact) come over, use the amenities, be disrespectful and play offensive music. We ended up having to contact the police and they moved the party to the beach. All 50 of these teenagers had the code to access the pool, elevator and bathroom within the resort. Numerous of them came in and out of the resort and peed in the pool. There was no resort employee around to enforce the resort rules. Due to this, I have to give this place a poor review and we would not recommend or return to this resort. The condo owners said they are contacting the resort management to address these concerns.

Condo on beach

Great location, close to restaurants and shops. The condo itself felt dirty. Couldn’t walk barefoot in the place because our feet just collected dirt- this was before we went down to the beach. The deck has a view of ocean, but all you hear is the loud roaring motor of the condo building next door, so not pleasant to sit on deck. Overall, it wasn’t a comfortable stay.

Great Location

The condo was perfect for two couples. It was clean and comfortable and the location was perfect! The private beach was nice and we were walking distance from shops, great food, and bars. We didn’t have any issues at all during our stay. We would definitely come back!
