This apartment provides the ultimate Italian experience, is close to everything and is just perfect

We recently vacationed in Rome before moving on to a tour of the Amalfie Coast. When choosing our accommodation we really were looking for a true Italian local experience while still being able to easily tour the many sites that Rome has to offer. This apartment was just perfect. From the minute we booked, Emidio was so attentive and helpful. He had us picked up from the Rome airport in a private car and, when we arrived earlier than check-in, we were met by both he and his mom. She took our luggage while he gave us a tour of the immediate neighborhood pointing out the best restaurants, cafes and shopping. He also directed us to the nearby public transportation. The apartment itself is just adorable and transformed me to my childhood and my grandmother's quaint little apartment. It was bigger than it looks in the pictures,and was immaculate. The beds were so comfortable after a long day of site-seeing! Though it only has a washer my hubby and I got a kick out of hanging out clothes the old-fashioned way. The location is perfect and you are literally down the block from St. Peter's Square. The picture in the ad is the exact beautiful view we enjoyed. Most of the other popular sites were a short walk and transportation was nearby, though we took taxis when needed. I cannot say enough good things about Emidio and this apartment. We just loved everything and will certainly return if we are lucky enough to visit Italy again! When our stay was over Emidio made sure we were comfortably transported to the Termini train station on the way to more adventure. Thank you, Emidio, for sharing your home with us and providing an amazing experience!

WE merveilleux a Rome

Nous sommes parties pour un WE entre filles a Rome.nous avons été enchantée par l'appartement, très bien situé: vue sur le dôme de la basilique st pierre et 2mn du bus. L'appartement est très spacieux, très fonctionnel et surtout était très très propre. Merci au propriétaire pour son accueil chaleureux et d'avoir pris du temps a nous montrer les différents endroits stratégiques a proximité, quel gain de temps. Elegant apartment near the Vatican

What a beautiful apartment in Rome! It is spacious, exceptionally clean, artistically decorated and very comfortable. We loved the gorgeous marble floors. Emidio (the owner) was very helpful when we were inquiring about it and also very accommodating when we were there. He even helped to arrange for a taxi to the airport on our last day. The apartment is in a great location near the bus stops, easy walking to a large grocery store and right below are restaurants, cafes, bakeries and a quick walk to the Vatican grounds. Emidio showed us the bus stops and recommended that we get a pass for these which worked out very well. We thoroughly enjoyed our first trip to Rome and highly recommend this special apartment!

Beautiful Apartment in the Perfect Location

From the moment we first made arrangements to stay in this wonderful apartment, Emidio was pleasant and helpful. He provided me with maps and information to reach his location, and was even nice enough to advise me on approximate taxi fares (as a Native New Yorker, I appreciated this tremendously). Upon reaching the apartment, Emidio met my family and I at the door, assisted us with our bags, and gave us a tour of the neighborhood, including local restaurants, banks and supermarkets. The apartment is very well kept, beautifully appointed, and contains everything a travelling family could need. The pictures do not begin to do it justice, and the apartment is even more spacious than it appears. The first night of our stay, on Emidio's recommendation, we dined at Osteria dei Pontefici, which is mere steps away from the apartment. The food was excellent and we were happy to have been pointed in the right direction. I would highly recommend this property to any and all visitors to Rome. It is centrally located and travel to all major attractions was easy and quick. I can honestly say without reservations that this apartment is an absolute bargain that includes top-notch hospitality from the owner, and my only regret is not having been able to extend my stay. I will be sure to remedy that with a longer Roman holiday the next time around. My sincerest thanks and commendation to Emidio for a five star stay!

Perfect appartement op een perfecte locatie

Tijdens ons 5-daagse bezoek aan Rome verbleven wij met ons gezin in dit perfecte appartement op een perfecte locatie. De woning is zeer volledig uitgerust, er ontbreekt werkelijk niets, goed onderhouden, netjes en zeer schoon. Het laat niets te wensen over. De ontvangst door Emidio is enorm hartelijk. Zijn behulpzaamheid is geweldig! Allereerst had hij perfect vervoer voor ons geregeld vanaf het vliegveld naar het appartement. Van zijn aanbod om ons wegwijs te maken in de buurt (supermarkt, bakker, restaurants, ijssalon, station etc.) hebben wij graag gebruik gemaakt. Alles is op loopafstand en we voelden ons helemaal thuis in de buurt. De locatie van het appartement is perfect met een prachtig uitzicht op de koepel van de Sint Pieter. Met een korte wandeling sta je midden op het Sint Pietersplein en dat is een bijzondere ervaring. De rest van de stad is prima per bus te bereiken maar zeker ook te voet. Wij hopen zeker nog een keer in de eeuwige stad terug te komen en maken dan graag weer gebruik van het appartement van Emidio.

Fantástico!!

Fantástico apartamento junto al Vaticano, con vistas a la cúpula. Bien situado con comercios y transporte público cercano. Zona residencial muy segura. Ideal para familias con niños. Dispone de todas las comodidades con cocina bien equipada, lavadora incluida. Está extremadamente limpio. El propietario, Emidio, es muy agradable y servicial. Es muy fácil contactar con el por e-mail o por teléfono. Totalmente recomendable. Sin duda, regresaremos a él en nuestras próximas visitas a Roma y lo recomendaremos a todos nuestros amigos. El alojamiento superagradable.

El alojamiento ha sido perfecto. Tiene todo lo necesario para una estancia agradable y confortable. A un paso del Vaticano y de las paradas de bus que te llevan a cualquier parte de la ciudad. Tanto Emidio como Cristina son un encanto y te dan toda clase de explicaciones. La ropa de cama y las toallas están limpísimas y en la cocina tiene todo lo necesario. Se lo recomiendo a todo el mundo que quiera visitar Roma. Nos llevamos un buen recuerdo y como tiramos las monedas en la fontana de Trevi, seguro que volveremos. Hasta pronto.

Rom intensiv erleben!

Die sehr nett eingerichtete Ferienwohnung, die wir mit zwei Paaren genutzt haben, war in jeder Hinsicht super! Die Ausstattung ließ keine Wünsche offen - im März haben wir uns vor allem über die gut funktionierende Zentralheizung gefreut.Die Lage in der Nähe des Vatikans erwies sich als hervorragend geeignet, um von dort die ganze Stadt zu erkunden: Mit der Bus-Linie 64 kommt man an alle wichtigen Orte. Gleichzeitig konnten wir das echte, nicht touristische Rom in unserer unmittelbaren Umgebung erleben, indem wir z. B. den Pizza-Bäcker und das Ristorante "im Kiez" besuchten. Alle wichtigen Informationen erhielten wir bei unserer Ankunft von unserem sehr freundlichen Vermieter, Herrn Emidio Minder, bei dem wir uns herzlich bedanken. Er hat maßgeblich dazu beigetragen, dass unser Kurz-Trip nach Rom eine runde Sache geworden ist, ohne Flopps und Pannen! Dieses Ferien-Domizil ist uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert!

SUPER

Die Wohnung liegt direkt neben dem Petersdom und ist somit für eine Städtereise perfekt. Es ist sehr gemütlich und sehr sauber. Die Schlafzimmer sind ebenfalls sehr geräumig mit bequemen Betten. Die Dusche ist super und es gibt viel Platz. Alles war vorhanden: Bettwäsche, Handtücher, Fön usw.. Der persönliche Kontakt zum Vermieter war super: viele Fragen musste ich nicht einmal stellen, da mir alles vorab erklärt wurde. Wir haben einen schönen Urlaub hier verbracht. superb experience all round

From the moment we found the apartment on the website to our very last day the whole experience was superb. As previous reviews state, Emidio is a great guy who made the whole experience stress free. The apartment is beautiful and on arrival we met Emidio and his lovely Mum , both of who you could tell were very proud of the apartment and rightly so. It is beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. The location is amazing and you can see the dome of St Peters while making your morning coffee! Everything you could possibly need is included in the apartment. There is a little balcony off the larger bedroom which attracts the tea time sunshine. Emidio is very quick at replying to any emails you send him so do not hesitate to contact him with any queries you may have. He arranged transport to and from the airport for us and the drivers arrived on time and were very helpful with the cases etc. I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to anyone and hope to return one day. Thank you Emidio and Signora Minder for making our holiday even more special.

When in Rome... Stay here!

We enjoyed a week in the 5th floor apartment and couldn't have asked for more. Emidio was the perfect host, he arranged airport transfers for us and gave us a tour of the local area when we arrived (even where the best local gelato is!). The apartment was perfect too - spotlessly clean, bigger than expected, quiet and fantastic location (we walked to and from all the sights) and a truly great view of St Peter's Basilica from the windows and balcony). We would definitely love to return and stay here again some day...lets hope throwing coins in the Trevi fountain really does mean we will be back! Thank you Emidio!

Très propre et très bien situé à côté du Vatican

Nous avons séjourné une semaine dans cet appartement et nous en sommes ravis. A notre arrivée, Emidio nous attendait pour nous donner toutes les informations pratiques nécessaires pour rendre notre séjour plus agréable (les arrêts de bus, l’accès à Saint Pierre, les choses à voir …). L’appartement es très propre, très bien situé à côté du Vatican et près des arrêts de bus. On n’en a que de bons souvenirs! Et on vous le recommande vivement!

Fabulous place to stay!

Our family was in Italy visiting our child in the Military who is stationed near Venice. We drove to Rome and stayed for 3 nights. It was a wonderful "home away from home"!! Walking distance to Vatican City and many other sights close by! Emidio is a wonderful host! He gave us a tour of the closest places to buy groceries, eat dinner, get gelato, and provided a bus and train schedule with times, etc. It was extremely clean, comfortable and has wifi (which the children loved) We would certainly recommend this rental to our friends, family and anyone who looks for a place to stay in Rome. Wonderful Holiday, Wonderful Apartment

The owner Emidio is fantastic! before we had left England he had provided us with information, and recommendations for tickets to sights, and booked our transport from the airport to the apartment. Our Arrival in Rome was wonderfully received by Emidio at the apartment, followed by a walk around the neighbourhood to find the best places to buy groceries, ATM, Letter Boxes, Tabac - for purchasing bus tickets, and the railway station. We also had the opportunity to ask Emidio about getting to the waterpark by Bus - Hydro Mania - worth a visit! I would recommend trying every flavour of ice cream at Captin Cone, we tried to have at least two a day. Check when you travel but on certain days entrance to the Colosseum and the Vatican museums are free! Usually either the first or last sunday of the month. If travelling with a small child in a pushchair then go directly to the front of a queue as they 'usually' will let you straight in so that you don't queue in the sun. I would recommend eating at the restaurant 'Papa Rex' which is nearby. The apartment was beautifully clean and supplied with cleaning equipment for during your stay. It was located in a really great place, walking distance to the Vatican and on a really good bus route to get everywhere else really quickly. Perfect location

The apartment was a beautifully appointed base from which to explore Rome. It is well furnished immaculately clean and has everything you need to enjoy a break in this beautiful city. Emidio was very helpful and gave us lots of great advice about the local area. He contacted us before our arrival, was there to meet us and showed us the local supermarket, bakery and restaurants.
