Nice Condo

Nice condo. Property was not cleaned properly. There was trash left under the beds from other guests. I guess they dont check there as long as its not visible. Also, there was a ton of sand on the floor. Cannot be seen with the naked eyes though. You have to walk barefoot to notice it. But all rooms had sand in them. Lota of rooms and bathrooms. Highly recommend it for your extended family vacation.

Loved it!

We had an amazing time. Loved the property! Loved that we had assigned parking. Loved everything! The only complaint I have is the check in process. I rented through the vrbo website, but the property is actually rented through Elliott. I got to the Elliott office at 2:30, was 4th in line, and she said it wasn't ready, so I had to come back at 3 to get the keys, even though in other lines they were going ahead and giving people their keys. She said if it still wasn't ready when we came back in 30 minutes, we could have the keys but we couldn't go to the property until they texted me it was ready. We went to eat and came back at 4 and The line was out the door, and all the way to the side parking lot. (Ridiculous) I've stayed at many places at the nc/sc coast, and not one has an actual l "in person" check in. In 2023, and especially after covid it makes sense to have a code to get into all properties, and to check out as well. As much as I loved the property, I don't think I will ever rent through Elliott again due to this.

Not worth the price.

Overall, this unit wasn’t horrible but I would not book it again. While the location and pool were great, too many negatives that do not justify the “luxury” price tag. Here’s what our family experienced: (1). Upon arrival, the previous renters’ dirty linens were still in the green bags in the living room. Thinking they were our clean ones to make our own beds, we pulled them out but the linens were wet. Uggghh. (2) Master bathroom sink was clogged with hair and black dirt, which housekeeping just left like that. Took TWO phone calls to get someone to come out, and all he did was pour drano down the sink, and immediately left, without cleaning it. Luckily the drano worked. (3) Another sink become clogged. Called once again but no one came to fix it. (4). All six showers had hair in them. Obviously they were never cleaned. (5). We have a couple family members who are avid pool players. If you’re looking to enjoy round of pool playing, don’t. Of the six pool sticks, five were missing the tips. Called on that and was told new sticks will be supplied. Nope. Never happened. (6). The swing king bed mattresses were horrible. Super uncomfortable, uneven, and slope down in the middle. This unit is in desperate need of upgrades and maintenance. Too many other little things to mention here.

Some things to know. Linen package doesn’t include anything for the kitchen. Listing has a pool table but all the pool stick tips are broken. Also lists use of a fire pit available but it was not working. All the king beds are two twin mattresses put together.

Beautiful stay, very clean.

Impressed with well stocked kitchen, very, very comfortable mattresses on the beds. We enjoyed the 4K jumbo television in the lounge. It was wonderful to sit on the patio and enjoy the ocean view. It was nice to have a well stocked games cupboard and to get away from it all. What a great place for a short vacation.

Dirty bed, roaches, not prompt on anything. Not worth the money.

Pictures are beautiful however they neglected to show several things. The bunk bed on the bottom had a broken slat that it took 2 days and 3 phone calls of our vacation for someone to come and fix. The floors were dirty like they had not been seeped let alone mopped. Broken Glass in the cabinet. Found roaches in the bottomed cabinets of the kitchen and the exterminator came the next day and sprayed and there was a bunch of dead carcasses behind bothering freezer and refrigerator. After we had been totally disgusted we came to find the pull out sofa in the couch to have multiple yellow and brown stains on it. It wasn't even cleaned. That was all just downstairs. Missing smoke detectors in pool room with LIVE WIRES exposed and bedroom which took 3 phone calls and 2 days to fix. Burned out light above pool table that took 3 phone calls and 2 days to fix. Wobbly toilet that took again 3 calls and 2 days. Sites were beautiful outside. Pool was not heated or chlorinated but hot tub was running and had chlorine in it. Beach was clean. This property was so unclean and organized poorly that I would NEVER RENT FROM ELLIOT AGAIN.

Property Cleanliness

The unit was dirty and the floors were filthy. There were food crumbs on the sofa and chairs. The bathrooms were clean. There were bugs in the kitchen cabinets. On Sunday July 21 we discovered water dripping from a hole in the ceiling in one of the 1st floor bedrooms which was reported on Monday. Although the contractor came to look at the problem, it was never fixed during our visit. Judging from the area of wetness and hole, this was an on-going problem that was never resolved.

Cleanliness issues

We found candy wrappers and trash throughout the unit. A ashtray with cigarettes in it was left behind even though it was supposed to be a non smoking unit. We found hairs in the beds. Window treatment was broken and hanging off the window. Several of the TVs did not work. We called Elliot Rental who manages the unit and said they could not get ahold of the cleaners who were contracted by the owner. They did not come out to clean until day two of our stay. Of course by then it was too late. It was a frustrating situation not being able to get things rectified when we had friends coming in for the weekend to enjoy the unit with us and then not being able to rectify the situation.

They need to work on their units - repair please. And make sure the cleaning crew comes and cleans

Limited parking- 2 families could not park at the condo and offsite lot was about 10 min drive. Also condo was dirty upon arrival. And last water leaked from upstairs condo into ours... through the ceiling. Not good.

The property was in a nice location and had a clean pool and plenty of room for our large group.

The condo was well equipped with games and tv's and such. The cleaning company they are using needs to be fired. The baseboards, walls and cupboards/drawers are all dirty. The linen service doesn't include hand towels and there are very few skimpy bathmats. Also, the pool hours are untill 10 pm but nobody enforces them so if you are an early to bed type be prepared to be kept awake untill all hours with people screaming and playing untill midnight. Also the walls are paper thin so you hear every footstep above you or poolgame next to you. The condo is spacious and the pool is nice. The beach is well kept and there is plenty to do around there without needing to deal with the downtown traffic. Was not exactly a luxury condo but was still very nice and we enjoyed our stay there. There were plenty of beds and baths for our large group. The view from the balconies is awesome. The owners have stocked the place with most essentials. We couldn't find a can opener but other than that the kitchen was well stocked. Also there are grills for outdoor grilling which is nice.

Perfect vacation

I recently stayed in this condo. It is nicely decorated, kitchen has everything needed too cook large family meals. The view from the balcony is absolutely wonderful and there is plenty of furniture to sit and enjoy the ocean view. Game room has a fully stocked closet with all kinds of board games and nice pool table. Bedrooms are very comfortable nothing beats falling asleep to the sound of the ocean in one of the two master suites. Pool, hot tub and fire pit area are very nice. I definitely look forward to visiting this condo again.

Clean and tidy

I am the owner of this property and I need to tell potential vacationers that this property has just had new carpets installed. The condo has been thoroughly cleaned and I have hired a new recommended cleaning company. The damage caused by a renter that went unreported has been repaired. Unit is looking good!

The Perfect Place!

Spent a week in October in this beautiful unit! It was very comfortable and the perfect location. Great for families of all ages! Right on the beach and so close to so many restaurants, shopping, miniature golf, and so much more! One week was not enough time! Will definitely be staying here again!

Great condo on the beach!

Beautiful location right on the beach. Balcony on the lower level, and another one for the 2 master bedrooms on the upper level. Well equipped kitchen to cook in, and plenty of dining space. Kitchen ,dining and living room area are open which allows for excellent entertaining. Nicely decorated. Well worth the stay! Look forward to staying there again on our next vacation!

Oceanfront Escape

Excellent location right on the beach. Wonderful for taking strolls on the beach and seeing dolphins and other wildlife. Master bedrooms (yes there are 2) have access to a balcony that overlooks the ocean. Listen to the gentle roar of the ocean to fall asleep to or wake up to. Very relaxing! Close to the boardwalk and excellent restaurants (Captains Sea House) if you desire to go out. If you choose to stay in, well equipped kitchen to cook in, and plenty of dining space. Kitchen ,dining and living room area are open which allows for excellent entertaining. Well worth the stay!

Great Place to Stay in North Myrtle, SC

We stayed in this condo unit over the Thanksgiving Holidays - Loved the unit, decorated beautifully, right on the beach, very, very clean, close to shopping, restaurants, activities etc. This condo made you feel right at home, very cozy, great to have breakfast on the patio or share drinks with friends. The sunsets were breathtaking. We look forward to a return visit in 2015. This unit exceeded our expectations!!!!

Great Place to Stay in North Myrtle Beack

Stayed in this unit over Thanksgiving Holiday- Loved the unit, decorated beautifully, right on the beach, very clean, close to shopping, restaurants, activites etc. This unit made you feel right at home, very cozy, great to eat breakfast on patio or just share a drink with friends, sunsets are gorgeous. Would highly recommend to future renters, look forward to a return visit in 2015. The stay exceeded my expectations!!!
