The pool was not heated, so we didn't use it much. The deck was nice, but a table for outdoor dining would have been a good touch. A larger refrigerator would have also been good.

Thank you for your feedback! We’re glad you enjoyed the deck, though we’re sorry the pool temperature didn’t meet your expectations during your stay. We appreciate your suggestions regarding an outdoor dining table and a larger refrigerator those are great insights, and we’ll be sure to share them with the owner for consideration as we continue to improve the guest experience. Thank you again for staying with us, and we hope to welcome you back in the future!

We have stayed at Savannah for at least 10 years. The updates since last year when we stayed, such as the new porches, appliances, paint, cleanliness.., were wonderful.  the updates are terrific and the house seemed much cleaner this year.

We enjoyed five or six years in Savannah. Nice upgrades this year - new appliances and cabinets in kitchen, new vanities in bathrooms, walls painted, new front and rear upper deck and stairs with new railings. The pool is well maintained with wonderful shade beside it under upper deck. Short walk to beach allows for easy setup of all those things you think you need by the ocean.

We stayed in Savannah for a long weekend with our family. This house offers beautiful views of the ocean. The weather was cool and rainy so we didn’t get to enjoy the attractive pool. I look forward to enjoying it on a future trip when it’s warmer weather. There is ample seating indoors and out. The outdoor seating area is covered which allowed us to enjoy the scenery. There is parking for multiple vehicles. Inside there are two large dining tables with seating for our entire family to enjoy meals and games together. Each of the bedrooms has large bed(s) and their own bathroom, making it convenient for all guests.

The kitchen was DIRTY. It was obvious that it was more than overlooked areas and hadn’t had a proper cleaning in months. Pans and dish rack full of rust, hair and food in all drawers and dishes. The window at sink was covered with insect excrement. The patio furniture in livingroom instead of a sofa has stained dirty cushions which we had to cover with blankets. Baseboards thick with food and dust. Two broken beds were never fixed, they only offered to place part of our group a mile down the road. Black mold on ceiling of back left bathroom with wet plaster. Wet moldy dish towels and pot holders shoved under sink. Dirty wet bath mats left in cabinets of each bathroom. The back bedroom had snot wiped on the wall, lampshade, and nightstand. I called and requested a reclean. They told me a crew would be out ansap and the crew showed up at 10 am the next day. I spent hours cleaning the entire kitchen and laundering all of the mats and towels. I requested a call from management that never came. Only text messages were received and the responses were never fast. I wasn’t expecting a bougie place, but I had invited guests to stay with us and I was embarrassed by the unclean conditions.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We sincerely apologize that the condition of the property did not meet your expectations or our standards. The cleanliness concerns you described are unacceptable, and we're very sorry for the inconvenience they caused. We regret that our housekeeping team was not able to respond as quickly as you expected and that your experience required you to spend valuable vacation time cleaning the property yourself. We also apologize that the broken beds were not able to be repaired during your stay and understand that the alternative accommodations offered were not a suitable solution for your group. Additionally, we're sorry that you did not receive the follow-up call from management that you requested. Your comments regarding the kitchen, furnishings, bathrooms, mold concerns, and overall condition of the home have been shared with our housekeeping management team and the property owner for immediate review and corrective action. We appreciate you bringing these issues to our attention and sincerely regret that your stay did not reflect the level of service we strive to provide.

A decent stay for Spring Break

The property photos are accurate, but the house feels a bit outdated upon entering. There was plenty of space/rooms for our family. We didn't realize until we got to the house, that there were zero rolls of toilet paper ready for us in the house. We had a later check-in and only received our key, only to find out the next day that we would've received a "complimentary" roll upon check-in. Still, for what you pay, you'd expect the house to have toilet paper, and soap for that matter. The bedroom on the first floor with the king bed had a ceiling fan light with the dome missing. It just kind of made the fixture look unfinished. The bathrooms that haven't been remodeled are very small. Also, when you shower, the faucet makes a loud noise which got pretty annoying. The kitchen window was broken and propped upside down by the sink upon arrival. We called the property manager and all of their service techs had already gone home for the night. They would not send anyone out to fix it until the next day. We were told to shove something against it to secure it and to know that we were in a safe neighborhood. That situation was a bit unsettling. Someone did come out the next day, late morning, and did manage to put the window back in place, but said that the window needed to be replaced. Also, we learned that we could not use hair dryers in both small bathrooms on the first floor or the breaker would pop, and we again, had to call a service tech to flip it back on. The pool is very nice and it lights up in the evening and some jets turn on too for extra fun. The house does have Adirondack chairs and some loungers to sit in by the pool. There is a gravel part by the pool that looks like it hasn't been cleaned in months. There was all sorts of trash, empty beer cans, and the land of misfit beach toys and chairs that no one wanted to take home so they were just left in the corner. We did our best to clean it up, but again, it should be better cared for by management from renter to renter. There is a nice walkway to the beach from the house, which makes for very easy, private access to the beach. Overall it was a nice stay. Some minor inconveniences, like the house is well stocked with glasses and plates, but the cookware is lacking and the silverware was gross and dirty with crusted food. We just bought plastic silverware and used that instead. Also, if you're planning on grilling, you should prepare yourself to buy a new grill grate.
