These guys were the perfect guests.....working with me to make their stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible.....they appreciated the amenities and charm the Condo offers and gave suggestions to make future stays even more enjoyable! I really appreciate guests like these...and look forward to their future arrivals as, together, we can share a wonderful and enjoyable experience in beautiful Vallarta.....Am so happy to have you back whenever you can.

It was unfortunate that my condo was found (for the first time in 5 years) not to be in pristine condition upon arrival of these guests. Had I known there was a problem, upon check in, the unit would have been recleaned asap. As soon as I was informed that this was the situation we contacted this guest immediately to schedule a recleaning at their convenience. One request I have of my guests is to contact me upon arrival and let me know that everything is as expected and in very satisfactory condition. I was made aware of this condition 1 week after this guests arrival and responded immediately as I am a very "hands on" host. The entire unit is pictured on VRBO and the patio is part of the living\dining area...the entire front of the condo can be opened by the floor to ceiling glass doors to the terrace area creating 1 very large space. I completely remodeled this unit 5 years ago...everything. The pictures on VRBO are current and, as mentioned ,reflect the true look of the condo and the furnishings...you can also see that there is a view overlooking the courtyard and the street (not an ocean view). The location is incredible and my unit is the closest to the beach...which means a lot to the majority of my guests. The incredible view of the ocean and Banderas Bay is from our common deck (where the pool is) and from there you can enjoy your evening sunsets with the MOST incredible view of all Puerto Vallarta and the ocean. Other guests find the ambiance and color palate of my condo warm and inviting and in keeping with the "flavor" of Mexico which is what I wanted to achieve. This works very well....as this is one of the main reasons that I am contacted for rentals. My condo enjoys a very high occupancy rate with satisfied guests and for that I am very appreciative. I personally visit my property and annually upgrade and improve the look of this well maintained condominium. I welcome and encourage suggestions from all my guests as to how I could make their stay more comfortable and satisfying.

I have never had "guests" of this caliber in my 7 years of ownership. The only truthful thing here is that the TV had broken during their stay and since they had checked in on Christmas Eve it was impossible to find a repair service or buy a new one until the following week.....From the time they entered the Condo I received email after email complaining about unfounded and untrue issues....example - the wireless did not work yet they managed to email me constantly somehow (they never seemed to be able to enter the correct password), and they did have a back up.They stated there were no wash cloths , dish towels or regular towels...my cleaning service confirmed this to be untrue as there were 17 towels, several wash clothes , and about 4 dish cloths. and 2 beach towels. they complained that the stove was broken (I explained it had to be lit manually)....the silverware was brand new as it had been replaced by my previous guests who had been there for 6 weeks prior. Absolutely none of the complaints were valid upon checking with my cleaning service except, in addition to the TV issue, the toilet tissue had not been left .... we immediately delivered a couple of rolls until we were able to buy some additional (remember It was Christmas eve when they arrived) The complaints did not stop during the entire stay....as soon as we followed up and addressed an issue another would arise...all unfounded so it became obvious what was happening here. Yes, these guests were extremely confrontational unhappy individuals for reasons other than their stay in my comfortable condo.... I offered them a partial refund although I had rented the condo to them for a very low rate (for the New Years period and allowed them to make monthly payments) Everything possible was done to correct any issues (although there turned out to be few legitimate ones) and make their stay a happy vacation.In return I was constantly bombarded with outright animosity about totally manufactured "problems". The Condo was left (by them) in a horribly FILTHY condition damaged as much as possible....17 towels and all 4 sets of sheets scattered all over the floor..everything was in disarray the day bed was broken, the air conditioner was left full blast with all fans and lights in the condo on...so as to waste as much electricity as possible and cause additional expense... decorative pillows pulled from their covers and left on the floor..... as a host I have never experienced this caliber of guest.
