Casa Carlota is located at the dead end of Pilitas Street only 2.5 blocks to the beach with no stairs. The default map view is misleading, it appears the condo is floating in the middle of nowhere. Zoom in for a better understanding of exact location and proximity to the beach.

Built in 2015 and finalized in 2016, well appointed, open air concept, 1 bedroom, 1 bath penthouse condo in the heart of Puerto Vallarta's most sought after neighborhood; Zona Romantica, a gay and family friendly, English speaking area.

Three minutes to Puerto Vallarta's most popular beach; Los Muertos, with no stairs to climb or descend en route. Food and drink service provided under umbrellas on beach. Only two to five minutes to the restaurants, amenities and nightlife of Olas Atlas and Basilio Badillo, yet tucked away at the end of Pilitas; a dead-end, mostly residential, cobble-stoned street.

Minutes to boutique and artisan shopping. Mini-marts, ATMs, convenience stores within a three-minute walk. Ten to fifteen minute taxi ride to marina, commercial centers, golf and eco tourism activities.

Granite countertops, bar and backsplash, stainless steel appliances and tropical parota wood furnishings and built-ins. Local commissioned artwork tastefully adorns the walls. Full-wall glass sliding doors provide an open-air concept inside while plant-lined balcony equipped table for four allows dinning al fresco.

In unit conveniences include a work station, wifi, flat screen TVs in living room and bedroom, Firestick on both TVs, Streaming TV service in living room, high efficiency wall-mounted AC, Bluetooth speaker, document safe in bedroom closet, blender, toaster, coffee maker, dining, flatware and glassware for four, ample storage, vanity in bathroom, hooks for your clothes and towels, in unit washer and dryer. Full sized sofa bed in living room comfortable for one adult or two children. Maid service every other day Monday thru Saturday. Bottled drinking water provided.

Four floors from a quiet cobblestone street with great ocean views, only one floor down from pool deck with pool and more stunning views of mountains and Banderas Bay.

The Stay

Communication was very good and helpful. Location met all of our needs. Close in to beach, old town and other sights. The condo was very comfortable.

Your own hideaway in paradise

Located at the end of what we call a cul-de-sac, you can revel in the silence of no car traffic. This condo is located walking distance to some of the best restaurants and bars PV has to offer. My stay was quite enjoyable as the condo contains all you could want on vacation. I loved having my morning coffee on the patio and taking in the ocean view.

Easy VRBO experience. Exceptionally well furnished kitchen. Grout throughout apartment and especially in bathroom is in need deep cleaning. Overall: Thumbs up !

Hidden gem in the Romantic Zone

This is a great condo located on a quiet street in the heart of the Romantic Zone. Within a block, there are many restaurants, bars and shops, and the beach is two blocks away. The unit itself is small, but has everything needed for a single person or couple. It is clean, modern and well-maintained.

Great vacation property

When there was any issue, John was very accessible and communicative. This unit had a view of the water from the balcony and is located at the end of a street. The elevator had issues multiple times, but if you travel to PV you must be ready for stairs, hills, and climbs. I would stay here again on my next trip 👍

First Class!

Lovely condo that is so well thought out, decorated and supplied. Properties like this encourage us to treat it like our own home. The cleaning staff were wonderful but it is nice to have proper supplies to take care of everyday living - wish more home stays would do the same. Thank you Charlotte and John for hosting our terrific stay.

Fantastic condo located in the heart of Olas Altas!

We had an amazing New Years staying at Casa Charlotta! The condo is perfect for a couple to enjoy all that old town has to offer--conveniently located at the end of Pilitas, close to Los Muertos beach, shops, bars and restaurants. We have been staying in Olas Altas for 10 years and this condo was a great place to stay. The condo has all the amenities that you need to be very comfortable--nice shower, well-appointed queen size bed, rooftop pool, very helpful on site manager, nice ocean views. The condo has everything you need--just bring your clothes and your appetite for delicious local cuisine right around the corner!

A Wonderful Stay in Puerto Vallarta

We recently stayed at this apartment in Puerto Vallarta, and it exceeded our expectations! From the moment we arrived, everything was smooth and well-organized. Highlights of the Stay: 1. The apartment is in a fantastic spot—close to attractions, beach, restaurants, right in the heart of Zona Romantica,making it convenient to explore the area. 2. The space was spotless when we arrived. The furniture was comfortable, and the décor gave a warm, inviting vibe. 3. The apartment was well-equipped with everything we needed, including a fully-stocked kitchen, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, pool, laundry. 4. The view from the balcony was breathtaking, especially during sunsets over the ocean. It was one of our favorite parts of the stay. 5. The host was very responsive and helpful, ensuring our stay was comfortable. Overall, this apartment was the perfect home

Location and Unit Were Great

The unit was clean, had plenty to feel comfy in, we loved the rooftop area and the location was great. It was close enough to the beach and town, but not too close to where we could hear too much commotion. We would definitely stay again.

Home away from home. Beautiful view!

Such a nice place to stay. Modern and clean. Beautiful view of the ocean. Hosts were responsive and helpful! I felt comfortable and safe there. Also very quiet but near everything.

Great stay!

I really enjoyed my stay here! It’s on a quiet street away from the noise but still close to all of the restaurants and bars! Easy to walk everywhere. The unit was very clean and comfortable. The balcony has great views at night. Charlotte was very responsive when I had any questions. I will definitely stay here again!

Great Hosts & Location!

The previous reviews for this condo are spot on! Great hosts, good location, good view, nice pool, unit well maintained and clean. The hosts, Charlotte & John, are responsive and really helpful. They offered good suggestions for visiting the neighborhoods and the many restaurants close by. We walked where we wanted to go - no need for a car. We particularly enjoyed our visit to the botanical gardens South of PV. Well worth the visit; lunch and gift shop very nice. We were glad we stayed in a neighborhood and not at a resort. We recommend this unit and hosts. A very enjoyable trip. Thank you.

PV Bliss

We have stayed at a few other places in the Romantic Zone but this particular ambience was the best. We were able to really relax and rebuild. No stress in communication and we were able to navigate the hills. People were friendly and so kind. Loved our little vacation! Thanks so much.

Great Experience

Stayed at Bella Loma for 3 nights. The experience was first-rate from check-in to check-out and the unit was exactly as depicted in the listing. All communications to the owners were answered very quickly. The location is super convenient to many neighborhood restaurants, several of which we tried at the owners recommendation. The unit was very clean with all of the amenities for a relaxing visit. We used the roof-top pool twice, which was a very nice feature. Walking to the beach was less than 10 minutes and brings you to the middle of everything. Very easy to see why this unit has such a high rating and great recommendations. If back in the Romantic Zone, would definitely try to stay here again.

Simply the best location and an amazing super host!

Perfecto! Perfecto! The place is a true gem and the location simply perfect! Charlotte is answering all your questions in a very timely manner making it easy and comfortable. I highly recommend it, we had an amazing time !

Hidden Gem

Located at the end of a random little street is this gem. I’ve stayed in the building before but not in this unit. One block from one of the main neighborhood streets, Olas Altas, you have everything in this condo. Sunset balcony views, a small pool and nice sun deck one floor above, Wi-Fi and cable/Fire TV in both the living room and bedroom. John and Charlotte made everything easy. I’ve been coming to PV 3-4 times a year for 15 years. This is a great location.

Comfortable, clean, and a view

The property is just as described. We loved our stay. The owners were responsive to any questions, and housekeeping service is provided more frequently than is typical with Vrbo rentals. The rooftop pool is refreshing and offers a fantastic view. We have stayed in this building once before. We truly love the location. It is walking distance to all of the restaurants, shops, entertainment & nightlife, and the popular beach Playa los Muertos. Yet the condo is on a quiet dead-end street. This condo has a nice partial view of Banderas Bay, from the balcony or from inside through the glass balcony doors. It is supplied with everything that you need. As a BIG bonus, owner John helped us to find a perfect condo for long-term lease, so we can be in PV even more often!

This is an exceptional value, a quiet space and very well planned space.

You might worry that this is off the beaten path or too close to the highway, but the truth is that it is just around the corner and out of the noise (the buildings and mountain block all highway noise) of everything you want to access. Several items stand out at this property. The hosts communication and knowledge of the areas is exceptional, the building is meticulously cleaned and secure. The staff is friendly and accommodating.

My wife, Charlotte, and I are from Portland, Maine. I first discovered Puerto Vallarta by accident at age 18 while on vacation in Mexico City when we decided to take an overnight bus trip adventure to the coast. Upon landing in Puerto Vallarta I instantly fell in love with it. Later I was fortunate enough to be able to return with my wife. We booked a condo in Zona Romantica, very near to Casa Carlota , and never looked back. Year after year we returned, addicted to the beauty and amenities of PV. Finally in 2013 we decided to buy our first Mexican Condo. We eventually discovered a great pre-construction opportunity at Bella Loma, we finalized our first condo, Casa Tesoro Escondido in 2015. In 2016 we came across an great opportunity to purchase Casa Carlota right next door and with one year of rentals under our belt, we went for it again! We oversaw construction of Casa Carlota and meticulously applied years of personal experience renting in the area, our experience with our first PV condo and previous professional experience in rentals, construction and real estate in Maine to create a wonderful home and superior rental experience. We currently visit our homes in paradise two to three times a year. We hope you will enjoy Casa Carlota as much as we do!

As we purchased pre-constructions we were able to design the finishes and furnishings to the highest quality.

Bella Loma is a smaller condo association with only 17 units. This allows for the amenities of a condo, with a bit more privacy. Typically there will only be one or two other guests on the pool deck. It has a friendly and family run feel. Built in 2015 it has modern amenities and feel but at a much greater value than other new condo developments in the area. The location is optimal, tucked away at the terminus of a dead end only 2.5 blocks to one of Vallarta's most popular beaches, Los Muertos, only one block to Olas Altas shopping and European styled cafes and bars and only minutes to restaurant row on Baslio Badillo and the boardwalk and Downtown.
