Paddles on the Porch is a perfect location, beautiful views and walking distance to everything in town. The house has great vibes and was nice and clean. It has everything you need for a longer stay... we didnt need to bring anything but ourselves, fun and food. It is very well equipped and the hosts were great! We wull definitely return 🥰

Great place in the heart of Alexandria Bay. Walking distance to all restaurants and shops. Hosts were very accommodating. Definitely recommend staying here.

Simply Great!

Great hosts and location make this place. Excellent communication and easy check in from the start made us feel welcome. The house was built in 1863 but has been updated for all the modern amenities. Very clean and comfortable. The outdoor deck and fire pit area offer a great view of the bay and Boldt castle. Docks are well kept and protected from wind and traffic, easy in and out.

Great place!

This was the ideal spot for our family. Our 7 year old could fish right off the dock! There was plenty of space both inside and out. There was a great patio and outdoor fire pit! This home was walking distance from to the restaurants and shops! Best get away ever!

We will definitely be returning to paddles on the porch. The location is excellent and the house itself was perfect for our group. Looking forward to rebooking for Summer of ‘26!

Family and Friends

The River is our favorite place! Our stay was perfect at Paddles on the Porch! The home and yard are spacious for family and friends to gather, we especially enjoyed the firepit and deck. Any amenities you would ever want or need are supplied. The owners are lovely people, easy to communicate with, and immediately responsive to any concerns or requests. A 5 star review for sure! We are hoping to return!

Alexandria bay Gem

Amazing ! Great experience. Far exceeded our expectations. Loved every minute of our stay. Ideal location did not need to use our car at all. Everything within walking distance. House was as pictured only better! Beds very comfortable. Plenty of linens available. Kitchen well stocked Didn’t use outdoor grill but it was available. Hosts very nice. Introduced themselves and very informative regarding local activities we were a family of 6 and had plenty of room. Did not feel crowded if you’re looking for someplace to vacation look no further. We visit area every year and this place was the best ever. Look forward to returning

Simply Amazing

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Paddles on the Porch. It is a great location with close proximity to the town life. Court and Louise were very helpful and friendly. The house was fully stocked with all of your needs, including bathroom toiletries. We couldn't have asked for a better time at Alex Bay. Thank You!!

Fantastic Alexandria Bay rental

The property is perfectly placed to have a great Alexandria Bay experience. You can walk to town; the Tiki Bar is steps away and access to boat tours is steps away. Going to Canada is a snap. The owners take great pride in their property. The kitchen is stocked with anything you can imagine you would need to make cooking like home. They supply shampoo, body wash, bug spray and suntan lotion! I have never been to a place that provides bug spray and suntan lotion! The yard is right on the St. Lawerence River. A huge fire pit/sitting area. A peaceful place to start or end your day. I would highly recommend this property.

Views and Property are Perfect

Overall this is a great property! We were able to tie up our boat for the weekend and walk right up to the house. Everything was clean and well updated, views from the property were second to none and it's an easy walk to downtown. Highly recommend!

Stayed with group of friends and house was great in great location able to walk to town and view and outside fire pit was thoroughly enjoyed! Had everything you need and very clean. Would definitely go back and Louise was very nice and helpful.

Our First Time to Alex Bay!

This was our first time to the area and we were so happy to be staying in the heart of it. Paddles on the Porch is a perfect location to walk to town, but also have direct access to the water. We brought our boat and loved having the ability to dock it right just a few steps away. The house was great - Great kitchen, comfy beds, and awesome deck to hang out on. We enjoyed the fire pit in the yard and there is a tiki bar only a few steps away that we enjoyed afternoon cocktails everyday. I can't say enough about how wonderful the location is and how well the hosts run the process.

Another great stay

This is our 4th year returning to the property. It is always super clean and has pretty much everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The owners are great. Easy to communicate with and super friendly with great advice on what to check out and anything going on event wise. They are right next door which was great incase we needed anything but they aren’t intrusive on your stay. We love coming back with our family/friends each year. We stayed with a 1, 4, 7, 10, and 12 year and 4 adults. Plenty of space in the house for all of us. The gift shops and restaurants were all within walking distance. Definitely a great location to be. We can’t wait to come back next year.

Feels like home

Thus is our 6th time at Court and Louise place and as always it was perfect! Looking out to see sunset over Boldt castle is awesome. Kitchen is well stocked for family dinners!! Beds are super comfy!! Love this place!! Joan

Alex Bay Family Vacation

If you are searching for a cozy, spacious, all around comfortable home to vacation at, look no further! Paddles on the Porch offers a deck with spectacular views, enclosed porch w/ fun bar and plenty of seating, close walks to golf course, church, mini mart, bars, lots of restaurants, tour boats, public beach, parking. So much fun!!
