Dark Skies cabin boasts the largest rooftop deck in the Red River Gorge Area! Perfect for sunsets, star gazing and family gatherings! The first level is an inviting open layout with a gourmet kitchen and living space complete with a fireplace and bathroom. Unique spiral stairs lead you to the lower level with two queen bedrooms, laundry and a full bathroom. Outside space abounds with the lower level covered deck, seating area and hot tub.

Guests will have access to the entire property.

Great place, would stay again!

Cabin was clean and nicely decorated. We enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, and the rooftop patio was a great place to watch the sunset.

Beautiful night skies

The property was clean, functional, and exactly what we needed for our couple getaway. The rooftop is a must to see the beautiful night skies, even though we were there when it was freezing outside. The multiple porches outside make for a perfect view. You can view the houses around you, but they are not on top of you so it feels secluded. Great stay! Thank you!

Quiet and relaxing spot with great-accomodations. Dark Skies was well-kept, spotless-clean and owners were quick to respond. Less than 30 minutes from majority of RRG attractions, and far enough out for privacy.

Perfect Getaway

We had the very BEST time at this perfect little cabin. It’s absolutely beautiful not too far from RRG and the scenery of the cabin is stunning. So clean and the host was amazing. We can’t wait to book it again. Thank you for a perfect getaway!

Beautiful and relaxing cabin stay for my family of four.

The home was incredible. Very clean and comfortable. The beds were super cozy. The rooftop deck was spectacular. I enjoyed sitting up there with my kids in the morning with a cup of coffee. There was plenty of space for my wife and I with our 2 young kids in the cabin. I had a few questions and the property management team got back to me right away and answered my questions. If you are looking for a calm and relaxing getaway, I highly recommend this place. Great location that is close enough to all that RRG has to offer, but just far enough away to get the peaceful element that we were looking for. The hot tub was great as well. Definitely 5 stars all around!

We loved everything about this cabin!

Our visit to Red River Gorge was absolutely made better because we were able to stay in this cabin! We didn’t have the best weather while we were in the area, so didn’t get to hike and explore as much as we planned to…but we were so comfortable in this cabin that we didn’t even mind! From the amazing fire pit experience the first night, which was even better than pictured, to the cozy furnishings… this place is a gem! The decks were my favorite part, even though we didn’t get to use them as much as we would have liked. When we come for a return visit, I will absolutely book this cabin if it is available. It had everything we needed and wanted in a vacation rental.

Was a very nice property

Away from Red River about 10 miles, secluded great property saw deer, drove to Gorge twice. The house was lovely, great fire pit, stargazing roof. Hot tub. A lot of stairs for old folks, three levels. Uncomfortable couch. Still would return here. 5 star.
