This Beautiful one bedroom one bathroom condo was formerly a two bedroom opened up to create a spacious living area. The same square footage as a 2 bedroom. The condo is fully furnished and perfectly located in the Truman Annex, a gated community of private homes and condos within two blocks of Duval Street and Ft. Zachary Taylor State Park (best beach in Key West). This First Floor condo is a part of the Shipyard complex and is located in a very secluded area. The decks and gardens are totally

This Beautiful one bedroom one bathroom condo was formerly a two bedroom opened up to create a spacious living area. The same square footage as a 2 bedroom. The condo is fully furnished and perfectly located in the Truman Annex, a gated community of private homes and condos within two blocks of Duval Street and Ft. Zachary Taylor State Park (best beach in Key West). This First Floor condo is a part of the Shipyard complex and is located in a very secluded area. The decks and gardens are totally private with no condos behind it so no one will be glaring over or down at you. Few condos can offer this privacy in the Annex.

Parking notes: There is 1 designated parking space. Vehicles over 18' long or 80' wide are not allowed on property. All vehicles parked within the community must either have a permanent parking sticker or a temporary parking pass .All others will be subject to ticketing and/or towing.

Relaxing Get-away

We enjoyed a relaxing week at the Tropical Cottage. The condo is lovely, the location is ideal, and communication with the property owner/manager was excellent.

Had a great time. Nice and quaint unit close to many things. Owner was very responsive to a couple of very minor issues (coffee maker and cable tv issue after a Keys-wide power outage) that popped up and dealt with them promptly.

Comfortable first floor condo with a great backyard patio. Close to heated community pool. Two blocks from Blue Heaven restaurant. We ate there twice.

Great Place

The property is located with easy walking distance to almost everything in Key West. The condo was very clean, comfortable and quiet. The only thing missing was the grill that was in the patio picture.

Very pleased with our stay

We were so happy with our unit. It was in walking distance to everything that we wanted to do. Our condo was beautiful. Had everything that we needed plus more. We will definitely use Royal Pines again when we travel to Key West.

Great holiday

This was an awesome rental, will definitely come again. Beautiful place, highly recommended. Pool really nice, atmosphere was wonderful. So close to all the action but nice and quiet too. Loved loved loved it.Michele

Vacation in Key West

Great location perfect for the two of us. We know the area well. Been coming for over 30 years like staying in the Shipyard and Truman Annex places. Walking distance is you are able or rent a scooter to get around . Parking is a problem with large crowd events.

Celebrating Christmas in the Keys

A wonderful home away from home. The perfect space for the 2 of us. Very clean and well stocked with all the necessities and then some. Well within walking distance of all the fun there is to have in Key West. May be our first time but won't be our last time. Thank you for sharing your property with us.

9 day stay in season

We stayed here 9 days. We enjoyed our stay and outside deck and being able to open up the doors really made the place feel open and much larger. The bed was surprisingly comfortable and we're really picky about our beds when traveling. The condo is located in a high traffic sidewalk path. The blinds don't completely cover the windows which means people can see in. We also like having a washing and dryer.

Thank you so much that is greatly appreciated. We enjoyed having you and hope you come back next year as well. Thanks for the input on the blinds in the living room as well. I’ll take a look at that and see if we can’t do something about that for more privacy. I’m glad you enjoyed having a washer and dryer in the unit. I do find thats extremely helpful.

Great place more positives than negatives

Great place to stay. Wasn’t crazy about the parking assignments but that was minor. Only big negative was air conditioning sign saying that you could be charged a service fee if you turned it below 74 and unit froze up. We normally set ours at 70 at night so we were a little hot but used ceiling fan to help.

Thank you for staying with us! The sign regarding the AC states not to cycle the AC unit or it might freeze up. You are welcome to lower the temperature but we ask that you keep the doors closed when doing so. There are no restrictions preventing you from setting the AC below 74.

Great Location

We enjoyed our stay at this location. Very close to everything. We walked everywhere and enjoyed the convenience of the location. Property Manager communicated very well with us. We would stay here again.
