Nestled in the heart of the Truman Annex Foundry building, Southern Escape is a beautifully remodeled 2-bedroom, 2.5-bath townhome designed with your comfort and relaxation in mind. This stylish retreat comfortably sleeps up to 6 guests, featuring a king bed in the primary suite and two twin beds in the guest room — which can easily convert to a king upon request.

Enjoy bright, sun-filled living spaces with light wood floors, quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, and plush furnishings. The open floor plan includes a cozy living room with a sleeper sofa and a large 55” flat-screen TV, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring.

Location is everything: Just 3 blocks from the vibrant Duval Street, 2 blocks to the serene Truman Waterfront, and a short walk to Fort Zachary Taylor Beach, Southern Escape puts you right in the center of Old Town Key West’s best attractions — no car needed!

Nice place, well appointed. Quiet, close to everything, short walk to Duval. Clean place, well appointed for our family of 4. Would have liked regular coffee pot instead of Kuerig. Really need to do a better job marking location and what keys needed for what, nothing is marked. On the pricey side. Manager generally responsive to any issue. Unit actually has access to two pools not just the small one nearby as marked. Small nearby pool water too hot as cooler broke down. Larger pool nicely cool since it was very hot while we were there.

Great place. Perfect location!

The place was as pictured, although the pictures make some rooms seem smaller than they were. Living area was plenty big enough. Bedrooms large enough too. Kitchen and bathrooms are small, but functional (Kitchen island is actually a good size). And the place was immaculate! Lots of linen, including beach/pool towels. Full size washer/dryer was nice to have.But the best part is the location. Truman Annex is a perfect location on Key West. Close enough to walk to 90% of what we did. Far enough off the busy streets that it was quiet (but for the roosters!). Surrounding streets are beautiful to walk down, but we had the convenience of parking by our door. While the view off the upstairs balcony was nothing (parking lot and building behind) the small deck in front was nice and felt private and cozy. Shaded, yet has opportunity for sitting in the sun too. Perfect for your morning coffee or to read a book.The only real knock on the place is that the sound tends to echo around a bit since there are high ceilings, no carpet, etc. If you have small, loud kids, that might be a bigger issue, but for our small party of adults who don't yell much, not a big deal.The bottom line - we would love to stay here again.

Beautiful Place to Stay!

We love to stay in Truman's Annex and this condo was fabulous! It must be newly renovated and furnished because everything was in perfect condition. We would love to stay here again next time we visit.
