Glad to hear this condo and its location worked well for your group! The snowfall early in the season was definitely incredible. Thanks so much for taking the time to review your stay. I really appreciate your feedback and value the comments from you as our guest. I do apologize that you personally found the check-in process uncomfortable. Once final payment for a reservation is processed, very clear check-in instructions are emailed to the guest. Since your final payment was processed a month before your arrival, there was ample time to contact the office during our hours with any questions/concerns about the process. Guests often contact us beforehand, and we are happy to help and answer any questions. It is true that our condo complex is not a hotel. Each condo is individually owned. We do not have 24-hour front desk or electronic door locks on every unit. And in the almost 50 years that the San Moritz has been operating, we have never had an issue with someone taking an envelope that did not belong to them. That's definitely a positive aspect to small ski towns like Crested Butte and in part, what it means to be considered the "last great ski town." It's the reason that guests escape the big city to vacation here. Or choose Crested Butte over more heavily populated resorts. I'm sorry that you were not able to share that part of the experience. I am, however, glad that you enjoyed our location and this condo. Thanks so much again for your feedback. --Christine

I apologize that you had trouble finding our location and for the noisy neighbors. We are happy to contact loud guests and ask them to please quiet down during their stay. We do observe quiet hours from 10pm-7am out of consideration for others, and most of our guests are happy to oblige. Thanks again for staying and providing feedback! --Christine
