This stunning Tuscan-style villa is the ideal property for your seasonal family getaway. Situated in the exclusive Lighthouse Shores community, this home captures the essence of cozy and refined craftsmanship. Grounded with Travertine tile, wood floors and loads of sunlight, this home boasts three stories of unobstructed open air views of the Lake Tahoe Basin.

As you enter the home, you are immediately greeted by lofty ceilings and an abundance of natural sunlight. Warm, yet refined decor invites you through the formal living and dining rooms, and into the TV room with floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors, opening to your own private backyard and beach. You`ll be tempted to choose between lounging on the paved patio, meandering the private beach, going for a swim, sitting by the fire pit, or simply enjoying all of the interior amenities.

Back inside, you`ll notice the full-sized European kitchen - stocked with any and every gadget you`ll need for cooking and baking - complete with dining nooks on either side, and an unobstructed view of the lake from right inside the kitchen. Just off the kitchen and TV room is a half-bathroom, convenient for guests and uninterrupted family time downstairs.

Also featured downstairs is the sprawling primary bedroom suite. Lined with sleek black wood flooring, this primary suite features a fireplace, TV, lake view with room-darkening shades, and a large double-vanity bathroom including a soaking jet tub and walk-in shower. The Cal-King Sleep Number bed features individual comfort controls.

As you follow the black wood flooring up the beautiful custom staircase (which can be lighted at night), you are immediately greeted with an abundance of natural sunlight pouring into the expansive family/game room. Lakeside windows highlight the big-screen TV, wrap around couch, pool table, wet bar, popcorn machine, poker table, and upright arcade game. Here you`ll get another opportunity to open floor-to-ceiling French doors onto a balcony with 30-mile vistas overlooking the lake and mountains. You’ll also find the outdoor staircase leading to the rooftop deck.

The deck features 360 degrees of unobstructed views of Lake Tahoe and the entire Tahoe basin. The 8-person hot tub is serviced weekly and will leave you feeling on top of the world. The deck is outfitted with dining table and chairs and padded lounge chairs for rooftop gatherings or to simply escape for some quiet time.

On the second floor of the home there are three additional bedrooms. The first one is a lakefront bedroom with a Cal King bed and TV. The second bedroom has a built-in desk and work area with a Queen bed and TV and these two rooms share a full-size bathroom. The third bedroom overlooking the dock has three twin beds, TV and a full bathroom and is suitable for adults or children. The closet holds plenty of games and activities to entertain children of all ages as well as a Pack-and-Play portable crib for infants.

A Laundry room and linen closet are also located on this level. We provide all towels, extra linens, pillows, and blankets for your stay. We also have a full sized air mattress that is available for use if needed. For an additional fee, weekly and/or daily housekeeping and personal chef may be available upon request.

> This home will be stocked with a starter set of consumables such as soaps and paper products. Guests are advised to either bring or purchase additional after arrival.

> Guests will have access to park 2 cars in the driveway. Street parking is also permitted, within reason.

> There is one bedroom downstairs, which can be ADA accessible with a small ramp to accommodate for 2 small steps.

> The City of South Lake Tahoe has gotten quite strict in enforcement of posted rules that can be found in the rental agreement. Be sure to become familiar with said rules to avoid steep fines and visits from the authorities.

> Breeches to any of these critical county ordinances may expose you to a visit from the sheriff, and may result in early termination of your rental and forfeiture of your security deposit.

> Trash must always be disposed of in an approved garbage bin or dumpster, never left outside or in cars.

Lighthouse Shores is the exclusive, private gated neighborhood that runs along the beach, making your backyard one of the most coveted pieces of land in all of Lake Tahoe.

Our home is a convenient 15 minute drive from Heavenly Ski Resort and 30 minute drive from Sierra at Tahoe Resort.

Tahoe Keys Marina is also a short 5 minute drive (just on the other side of the Tahoe Keys neighborhood), where you can rent a variety of watercrafts, enjoy several beachfront restaurants and many other family activities.

This property is absolutely amazing! My family and I absolutely loved this place, the views were breathtaking, the amenities were great, and everything was very clean. There was plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy. We especially loved the backyard area, but overall the entire property truly deserves a 5 star rating. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with friends or family. Dara was an outstanding host. Extremely polite, helpful, and communicative throughout both check in and check out.

Great location, great home, and great amenities. Will definitely be back if the opportunity presents itself at this location. Only real hiccup were ants in the kitchen and dining room area (the ant traps that were available did not seem effective). The host tried to assist and was very responsive so that earned some good will. Not dropping a star for the ants, but now that the issue has been identified, hopefully future guests can simply enjoy the awesome place!

This house was beautiful beyond our imagination. The VRBO host was attentive and quickly responded to our inquiries. The jacuzzi on the roof was a special treat. It could use more lighting for evening use, but if you use your phone flashlight it helps getting up the stairs and there was only parking for two vehicles. The house was quite warm the first day, but opening the windows helped cool it down. This was a perfect venue for our family and our special occasion. We highly recommended this for any family special occasions.
