Nicely decorated, beautiful view, perfect location
The penthouse condo at Cabo del Mar was better than advertised, but exactly what we hoped for!The condo was three easy flights of steps to the top of the complex. No elevator, so be prepared to make a few trips!We were charmed by the tastefully decorated spaces. Every room was well-appointed with regional, yet personal decor. The place definitely felt a little lived in with slightly worn furnishings, but it was clean and cared for which just made it feel comfortable and homey. Three bedrooms were spacious and furnished nicely. Each with their own bathroom that were in excellent condition.The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to be able to prepare some meals at home.The living space had plenty of seating and a very comfortable sectional sofa.The outdoor veranda off the main space was furnished perfectly to enjoy morning coffee with an exquisite view of the sunrise. The hightop table with stools was enjoyed in the evening for sea-breeze cocktails. Oh, and did we mention the view! You can see and hear the ocean from the top floor with a view of the town just below - perfect to catch the morning rooster calls and the drifting sounds of music from the bustling village later in the evening. We found it very quiet most of the time but was still an easy downhill walk to all the action. Another detail that doesn’t always matter, but it was a bonus that all the residents and neighbours were so friendly and kind. It made the place feel safe like a neighborhood.
