We found the range hood to be so filthy we had to clean some of the crud off to be sure it didnt fall off into our food. The filter was coated with grease, we left it in the kitchen sink, Air filter for the AC hadnt been change in year or so such that the AC was having to suck air around the frame rather than through the filter. The flooring throughout the house has seperated and crud from cleaning efforts has been forced into the cracks where the floor seperated making the entire house kinda nasty. Great neighbors on one side, but a dog silencer might be a good idea they bark a lot partiuarly early in the morning. We were surprised by one of the bedrooms being underneath the house. Had this been disclosed we would not have rented the house.Fish didnt bite. Neighbors said the fish quit when it warmed up recently.

The home was exactly as described and very clean. The kitchen was well-stocked. The home was open and inviting. There were plenty of games to play and books to enjoy. There is not much around, which was okay with us as we cooked our own meals. It was an easy 30 minute drive to Tallahassee. The sunsets on the dock were amazing! Would definitely stay here again!

Friendly Neighbors

The neighbors were friendly and helpful. The property itself had a lovely view of the lake, plenty of indoor space for our family and outdoor space for our fur-babies. Melissa, the host, was communicative and flexible. We all enjoyed our stay!

Very Nice house and great location

I have stayed at other VRBO properties that were not what they seemed when you looked at the advertisements. That was not the case with this house. We were five grown men on a fishing trip, and there was plenty of space for all of us. Everything worked, everything was clean, and the location was absolutely perfect. The owner was extremely responsive and helpful and friendly, and I would rent this property again without hesitation.

Lake Talquin Fishing Trip

Great location. Weather didn't cooperate. Very windy, which is no one's fault, but if the boat lift was in working order we could've left the boat in th slip vs having to re-trailer it to prevent damage from rough water/waves.
