Stay in a 1750s stone-walled house in historic Old Quebec City, steps from all sites and restaurants. Fully renovated with three bedrooms and a working fireplace.
Free parking for 1 car during winter (turns into outdoor living space in summer). Paid parking nearby.
Setting of fictional character Émile Comeau’s home in Louise Penny’s Bury Your Dead novel. Also where the author lived while doing research for that book. It’s one of the stops (outdoor only) on the walking tour (buryyourdeadtours dot com).

I'm from the north shore of Quebec, along the St. Lawrence River. I am a native french-speaking Quebecer that also speaks English.

I love living in the historic section of Quebec (Vieux Quebec), it has so much charm and the neighborhood is very friendly and supportive. It's magical!

The house was built in 1752 by french marines and completely renovated in 2014. Louise Penny stayed here in 2009 to do research for her Bury Your Dead novel, and chose it as the setting for one of the characters in the book (Émile Comeau)!
