Location is great in mission beach. Owner was quick to respond when we didn’t have access to the check in information, as well as a question from usThe property is dated a bit, but overall the only real “concern” was the cleanliness. We ended up having to vacuum a good bit when we got there (giant rug in living room had some leftover snacks under it), and clean up some surfaces like the secondary bath. Overall I think the property was a great location and worked well for us.

This condo is perfect for families, we stayed here for our kids' Fall break for the 2nd year in a row and had an amazing trip! Carolyn is a fantastic host that is very communicative and the property itself is very well maintained. We love being able to let our boys just run out into the sand near the bay and play whiffle ball or football within our line of sight from inside the condo or on the porch. It is also a very easy walk down Ormond Ct. to the oceanside boardwalk to the beach where we spent most of our time. What would really push this property over the top is some additional investment in beach chairs and equipment, even if it needed to be shared with the other unit(s). The trip went by way too fast, can't wait to return!

The location was fantastic on Mission Bay. Wake up, set up chairs and umbrellas. Paddleboard, kayak, bike, or go surfing at Mission Beach. Didn't move the cars the whole time. Met the owner very nice a gracious host. We had a great time will do it again.

Great location, loved the tandem parking and the garage to store our paddleboards and bikes. However the upstairs renters decided to use our paddleboards as they didn’t understand the shared garage. He thought all the equipment was good to use, so perhaps better instructions on the shared garage! Also my rating as good was because the master bedroom bed specifically needs to be upgraded, the bedding was old and run down! Loved working with Carolyn she was a great host!

We had a wonderful time stating at Carolyn’sProperty. The location between the beach and the bay was fantastic. Our family of 5 had plenty of room and the air conditioning and water and dryer could not be beat. The kitchen had all of the supplies you could imagine and what a pleasant surprise to sit outside and view fireworks every evening. It was a pleasure to stay here and if we come back to mission beach we would definitely stay again. Thanks Carolyn!!!

We had an amazing time. The condo was perfect for what we needed. The host was very responsive and helpful. Location was perfect because it was nice and quiet on the bay side, but a quick walk to the ocean side, we saw the Sea World summer fireworks every night. Cannot say enough good things. We would definitely book here again.

Fun at the beach.

We enjoyed staying on the bay and close to the ocean. The property was nice with a great patio. Close to the waters edge and a nice grass area.

Really nice Fall Break trip

We normally stay on the ocean side in Pacific Beach, but chose this spot because of the convenient access for our kids to run out into the sand right from the front door. We have also always enjoyed spending some of our time on the bay side. The condo was fantastic with everything we needed and the kids built-in bunk beds were very cool. Huge plus as well to have the full washer/dryer in the unit. The condo was very clean and we would absolutely recommend it to families and would potentially stay here again if we wanted to be on the bay. There was an electrical issue that caused the A/C to click on & off sporadically and we were without the microwave for the first couple of days, but Carolyn was incredibly responsive and had it all taken care of. The only thing that kept this review from being 5-stars was that the beach chairs / umbrellas were really lacking. There was one big set of beach toys, one umbrella, and 3 chairs (two of which were pretty worn out) for not just our unit, but to share with the upstairs unit. Otherwise great experience!

Summer family vacation

We had to cut our stay a day short.we were disappointed with the mattress in the master bedroom as it needed. A update … ended up sleeping on the couches in the living room but unfortunately they were pretty broken down as well.overall the furniture was a bit tired and it made sleeping difficult. We were also surprised at the ants in both the kitchen and bath.we also noticed one of the beds in the bunk room had sand in the sheets .

Great Family Stay

Great place for family and was walking distance to where other family and friends were staying. Right on the Bay and across the street was the beach.

Amazing!!!

What an amazing vacation home! From the second we entered the house we knew we were at the beach! Location can’t be beat! Carolyn is so friendly and responsive. The house is adorable and has the cutest decor. We lacked for nothing. The kitchen was fully stocked with plates, bowls, mugs, glasses, utensils and all cooking gadgets. Coffee maker is a drip and we found an espresso maker too. Toaster. Blender. Fridge gives out cold water. Gas stove. Microwave. Ice cubes were frozen and ready upon arrival. Would say bring own containers for leftovers and ziplocs. Foil, wax paper and plastic wrap were provided. Also bring napkins and paper towels. They are provided but we ran out. Grill is perfect and may get the same for home! Had an extra tank which was great because the one attached to grill was empty. Beds are so comfortable. I’m picky with pillows and should’ve brought my own, but there were plenty of pillows to use. Found books and puzzles in TV cabinet for the young and old. A/C worked great at night with windows closed. Plenty of beach and bath towels. Washer/dryer worked well, on the small side so be sure not to overload it. Patio has two rockers, two wicker chairs and a table with umbrella and four chairs. Adding lounge chairs would be amazing. Parked our big ol’ ford in spot and had a Hyundai Santa Fe park in front of us. Booked for next year already!

Great location!

We loved how close it was to shops, coffee and restaurants in the area. Short bike ride down to Belmont Park and quick walk to the beach side as well. Our kids loved the bunk beds and being right on the bay water!

Mission Bay Gem: Highly Recommend!

This rental was beautiful inside and out and impressively clean. It was also very thoughtfully stocked with extra conveniences and comforts. It felt more like we were staying at a relative’s beach house, rather than a rental, because of how much care the owner puts into maintaining the property and ensuring guests have an enjoyable stay.

Bayside Condo

This condo has it all. Plenty of seating inside and out. Cute beach decor throughout. Great location for walking to many eating places and Ocean and Boardwalk just across the street. A very lovely place to stay.

This Bayfront property was purchased in 2000, demolished with completion of 3 wonderful condos in 2005. (The 3rd level condo is not available for rent.)

Location, location, location! I love the day time action - watching sport, dog walkers on the grass & sand; and in the water the paddle boarders, sailboats, jet skis, seems something new is added each year. Just steps away on Santa Clara Point you can rent water "toys" for all ages...from boogie boards to party boats with hot tub! Evenings & nights are magical from sunset to sunrise - from cloud watching with changing colors to moon rise & reflecting lights across the bay. The view will be a lasting memory whether with family or friend!
