Arbol at Casa Nambi Nosara
Located in the heart of North Guiones, easy walk to the beach, restaurants and shops, Casa Nambi offers two one-bedroom apartments (Tierra and Cielo) and a treehouse (Arbol) in a tropical garden with pool. Enjoy sounds of howler monkeys, tropical birds, rustling bamboo, and surf just beyond the wildlife reserve. Watch sunset from nearby Guiones Beach, or stay in and watch the sky change colors from the tree-level sun deck above our newest apartment, Cascada. Casa Nambi offers comfort, efficiency and up-to-date amenities. The units may be rented individually or together.
Arbol at Casa Nambi, offers a traditional Costa Rican vibe in a glampy jungle treehouse setting. Just minutes on foot to the beach and shops, yet well-shaded in the back gardens, the Arbol treehouse is your front row seat for viewing birds and wildlife passing through the canopy above. A stairway leads to the airy terrace and bedroom. The tree-level bedroom has a queen bed with elevated twin, a sink, a small work space and a comfortable corner chair. The open-air rancho on the garden level includes a kitchen space with 2-burner stovetop, refrigerator, a traditional concrete pila (double sink), rocking chairs and a dinner table of massive Guanacaste wood. The toilet and shower are accessed from the garden level. Water to sinks is supplied at ambient temperature, but the shower is as hot as you like it.
Casa Nambi is tobacco- free (including all units, the pool, and the parking lot).
Parking is available on the street and within the property.
Convenient key lock boxes are provided for each unit.
The pool, surfboard washing station, sun deck, picnic garden and grill are shared among the units.
The pool does not have a shallow end for small children and is not fenced.
WiFi is provided. (Like other utilities in Nosara, outages occasionally occur.)
Guests are asked not to host events or parties.
A safe is available for guests as well.
PLEASE NOTE
Some will love Casa Arbol but it might not be for everyone with the kitchen and shower being outdoors and downstairs. Keep this in mind when you book the apartment.
For the season of 2024-2025, Casa Nambi's updates include a back up secondary internet provider, a third-level, partially covered, sun/yoga deck, a new garden level picnic patio with grill and environmentally friendly bionest wastewater treatment system at the new apartment.
Security
Nosara is absolutely a wonderful community and we can't wait to share all the good things that it has to offer. We care a great deal about our clients and for that reason, we also want to make you aware of one of the véry few downsides to Nosara: petty theft (they usually are out for your cash and your belongings as in any other tourism area). The guest is responsible for securing and protecting their personal belongings and valuables left in and around the Property.
Internet and Electricity
In the jungle, the utility infrastructure is unpredictable. There may be power, phone, and/or internet outages and interruptions in service. The Guest should not leave electronics plugged in during rainstorms. Although Nambi hedges the bet with dual providers. We have an excellent mobile phone signal with Kolbi and data rates are very reasonable. You may also consider bringing an unlocked phone and geting a Kolbi SIM card. Please note that the Homeowner nor the Property Manager has no control over these situations and no refunds or discounts will be offered for outages or interruptions to these services. If there's any problem with the Property, please report it to the Property Manager.
Water
During the dry season months of December through April, the Property may have low water pressure due to temporary or scheduled water outages. We will do our best to notify Guests of any interruptions in water service or regularly scheduled water shut-offs. Nambi maintains a backup tank which can be helpful during outages.
Jungle creatures
We make every effort to present a well-cleaned home for your arrival. However, it is a jungle out there and nature can move in at any time. Every effort is made to present a clean home at Check-In. To minimize the impact of bugs on your vacation, please keep food wrapped, store it in the refrigerator, clean kitchen counters, and keep screen doors closed at all times (particularly at night). With an abundance of vegetation, Nambi is a favorite among monkeys, iguanas, birds, butterflies, squirrels, and coatis.
Refunds
No refunds will be given for natural disasters, water outages, internet outages, security breaches, personal property losses, or nearby construction noise. This area is a rapidly growing community. There is no guarantee there will not be construction nearby.
Insurance
We encourage all Guests to purchase Traveler Insurance in case of unforeseen circumstances, accidents, or other issues that may prohibit Guests from traveling or fulfilling Rental terms.
