Overall the property is nice, with lots of amenities. There are a few areas for improvement (cleaning and repairs) that have been shared with the host. The host provided timely communication and was very helpful throughout our stay.

Great Location

The property is located in a great location for everything that we needed. Walmart is within walking distance, this was great for us. The only problem, which was not the owners fault, was the front entrance gate was broken and was kept opened the whole time we were there. The other thing, which was on me for not checking, but all the bedrooms are upstairs. The Master Bedroom closet is locked, so if you have any clothes that you need to hang up, you will need to use one of the other 2 guest rooms. The home has everything you need for home away from home.

Wonderful

Gorgeous and Comfortable Townhouse!

My family and I enjoyed this rental over Memorial Day weekend. It’s very spacious and comfortable. The host is accommodating and a pleasure to work with. We enjoyed our stay and will be returning very soon! Highly recommend!

The property was nice. We enjoyed the space. The layout was done well. It was clean and comfortable. For us, because of what we had to do, the I-4 Commute was a bit annoying as the section we had to travel was very congested, but that has nothing to do with the property which we enjoyed.

Beautiful home & helpful kind owner

The home was just as beautiful as pictured. It has plenty of kitchenware to make the stay simple. It is a super peaceful and quiet area. Unfortunately, we booked our stay during hurricane Milton. We had to cancel half of our vacation time with our son and granddaughter, then pick up my 87 year old mother to try to stay safe during the hurricane. The owner was super helpful during this time and went above and beyond to make things as easy as possible by letting us stay a bit longer since the hurricane was still "active" on our checkout date. Lovely home, great owner. Definitely would highly recommend.

Cheer competition weekend

We had a great stay in your cozy condo. We were close to ESPN and all the parks so the location was convent. Close to shopping and WalMart was in our back your. We have stayed at other properties in the past that were so crowded you could barley get a chair around the pool. This community was quiet and secure. We were able to make all our meals that saved us a lot of time. Really enjoyed our stay. Thank you

Great location and property!

Close to all the parks, easy access to walmart, & less expensive than hotels would be in the area to have that many rooms. Property was very clean, and we had no concerns. If you stay here and plan to watch any TV, the note the TV instructions (located in the kitchen when we arrived) and lightswitch labels in the bedrooms when arriving. Loved it for the weekend! We did not use any of the community amenities, so i can't speak to them.

The property is just as the pictures depict. It is beautifully decorated, close to the attractions, and convenient to come and go from. Very spacious. It also provides a number of items for use related to kids (e.g., strollers to use, highchair, play pen, rain ponchos, etc.). A really nice touch. Parking is right at the unit so that makes it really nice. We travel to Disney at least 4 or five times a year so we will definitely stay again!

Pleasant Stay

This is our second stay at Oakwater Resort. First at this Townhome. Great location with Walmart right next door. Very secure gated community. Air conditioning was very welcome after coming home each day. Bed in mater bedroom was huge and comfortable. Springs in theDouble bed in second bedroom were bit squeaky when you turn over but otherwise comfortable. Recliner loungers in louneroom were fantastic along with the massive TV. Kitchen was nice with a fridge with ice dispenser. Could do with some small bowls in the kitchen. Extractor fan in WC downstairs very loud so tried not turning it on. Overall a great stay with plenty of room for everyone to relax

Great location

The location was great and right beside Walmart for those forgotten items. My only complaint was the air conditioning. It was set on 78 and wouldn’t move. We contacted the property company about it, however, there was a sign above it controls saying not to move it and it would be between 76-78. When you come in from a HOT day at Disney, you want to cool off and we couldn’t. We keep our temperature at 68 at night for sleeping and had a hard time going to sleep.

Better than I expected!

My family and I really enjoyed this condo. There was plenty of room for everyone. Location was excellent! It sits tucked away behind all the main chaos. Coming off the interstate, you turn at the 2nd light avoiding the traffic down the main strip. It's only 5 minutes from Disney and 20 minutes from Universal (our favorite!) Walmart is walking distance! The condo had plenty of towels, the beds were comfortable & everything you would need in the kitchen! Except the can opener - Mark, you need a new can opener! The one thing we didn't like was that there wasn't any soap in the condo! There are 3 bathrooms and the kitchen with no soap! Most places leave a travel size bar so when you arrive and have to use the restroom, you are able to wash your hands after. All in all, we loved this place and would defiantly return!!

Perfection location for Disney parks

10-15 minutes drive from the house driveway to the first entrance gates to all the Disney kingdoms. Perfect location. The photos of the house, were a true reflection. Comfortable, spacious, functional house. Spotlessly clean. Kitchen was well stocked with plenty of crockery and cutlery. Would have been useful to have some Tupperware containers. Don’t expect any condiments or basics such as a dish cloth, or tin foil etc as these are not provided. Gated complex. Felt secure. Great club house with pool table, table tennis and a surprisingly good gym. Spotlessly clean swimming pool area with sun loungers. Tennis court too. Staff at the club house were amazing. Walmart is virtually at the entrance of Oakwater. It is however, an absolute bun fight, best to drive 2 miles up the road to Publix. To all Uk visitors, it is no longer cheap to buy anything in America. Double your Uk shopping bill and that will be what you’ll pay here. Make sure you bring your favourite tea, coffee, toiletries etc… everything’s expensive.

Very nice place

My family of 4 stayed in this unit for close to 2 weeks. It was very clean. As with any VRBO you need to plan on getting some of your own supplies. We set up a Walmart pick up to do right before we arrived. Got detergent, dishwashing pods, trash bags, etc. The Walmart is next door. The management was almost instantaneously responsive to anything we had a question about. We really didn’t have any questions, other than a few of at the end questions of heading out. It’s a great location of being close to the gate to exit, but being tucked in, so you’re not around any kind of traffic. We did not hear a peep or bang or anything from neighbors. It was like we were in our own house. Maybe quieter. The one thing that kind of threw us is there wasn’t a closet available in the master. This only came up because my husband had to go on a couple of day work trips where he needed to have suits. He flew out early in the morning and had to hang them up in the kids bedroom. On one of our normal trips to Disney when he did not have to take business trips? This would not have been an issue because there is so much drawer space in the master bedroom. At Disney you generally wear T-shirts & shorts, which I think, do not need to be hung up. It would not deter us from renting this unit again. We have stayed in Oakwater for probably 6 or 7 years, and a couple of times a year and this is one of our favorite units. I would highly recommend this spot.

Prefect place

Mike was easy to work with and he was very responsive with any questions. The house was clean and had lots of linens and kitchen ware to use. Very convenient for our Disney vacation. Great price for what you get. Will definitely stay again! FYI: if you have bad knees, may not be the place for you as the stairs are steep!

DIRTY!

I’m surprised to see so many reviews not mentioning how dirty this place was. I took so many pics and wouldn’t ever stay here again. Bathroom showers had mildew and grime, smells old, dusty, dirty sinks and the patio was full of dead worms outside. We spent most of the time out in Orlando just not to stay in this place. Owners did offer to send a cleaner but I went for an occasion and my personal belongings were there so I declined. The communication was great from the owner but this place needs a good scrub! The location was the only thing we liked about it. Felt like this stay here ruined our trip.

Perfect for our trip

We were in Orlando for four days for youth soccer and playing at the ESPN Wide World of Sports. The location was close enough and easy to get there and back with plenty of good food options nearby. The property manager was great to work with and responsive and overall a great time in the Orlando area. They have a nice pool and we got to play pickleball on their tennis courts with painted lines. A fun trip for sure!
