Nana's Cottage - Charming 1930's 2 BD. Walk to the beach!

Enjoy the simple pleasures of Summer in this sweet, little 2 BR cottage in Rehoboth Beach.
The screened-in front porch furnished with white wicker is the best room of the house. Use it to visit with each other or relax and read. A small ice cream parlor style table is perfect for breakfast or lunch.
Inside, the beachy interior features an open living/dining area. Stretch out on the sofa to enjoy a book or a nap. Gather around the table for a game or shared meal.
The first floor has central A/C. Ceiling fans keep the air moving on the porch, the downstairs bedroom, the living area, and in the kitchen.
The front bedroom has one Queen bed, two dressers and a small closet. There is a full bathroom. The kitchen is equipped with range/oven, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, as well as washer and dryer.
A spiral staircase goes up to 'the Nook,' a small bedroom with a king bed, outfitted with a 2" foam mattress topper and Tencel or Land's End sheets. There is also a half bath (toilet & sink) upstairs. The Nook is cooled by separate A/C units.
An outside shower, with rainfall shower head, is great for a post-beach rinse or a memorable shower under a clear night of stars.

Beach towels, beach chairs and a 6' umbrella are available for use.
Or take advantage of Catt's/Lynam's Beach Service. Rent beach chairs and umbrellas for a daily or weekly fee. Attendants will set up chairs and umbrellas as part of the service. Cash only.

Save Money on Parking. The driveway is long enough to fit four cars, so there will be no need to buy a Rehoboth Beach Parking Pass to park on the street.

Walk to Town or Beach. Nana's Cottage is an 8 minute walk to the boardwalk/beach, 13 minute walk to Rehoboth Ave., and a 2 minute to a small park and playground,

This has been our beloved "Happy Place" for many decades. We have enjoyed countless laughs and treasured moments with our family, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
We invite you to stay in this special place, put down your cell phone, pick up a book, go for a walk, watch the sunrise, play a game, meander through town, and above all soak up the relaxation and restoration that only the beach can offer.

Back Door - Please leave all the keys to the back door on the kitchen counter and lock the back door from the inside. Make sure the door is locked.
Garage - Please make sure all four beach cruisers are inside and pull the garage door shut.

Please help keep the kitchen ant-free. Don't leave food out. Keep counters clean and all food containers tightly sealed. Take out kitchen trash daily.
Leave the sand on the beach. Use garden hose, by driveway, or outside shower to rinse off all sand before coming inside.
Use towel racks, shower rod or outside laundry line to dry towels and bathing suits. Please don't leave damp towels or suits on the furniture.

Long weekend at Rehoboth

We had the pleasure of staying at Nana’s cottage recently. Julie was communicative, pleasant, and accommodating. The house itself was in good condition, and super cute, full of charm, and a wonderful beach house. Overall, it was very well stocked and one of the highlights for us was the screened in porch and close proximity to the beach. The neighborhood was lovely, and to be able to walk to the beach was great!

We had a beautiful family getaway at Nana’s! Julie was incredibly easy to communicate with before, during and after our stay. From fresh baked cookies to making sure we had charcoal for our grill, a great set of knives in the kitchen, bikes and beach chairs available for our use, our hosts seemed to anticipate all of our needs for our stay. Thank you to Nana for making her home a place we hope to visit again!

Nana's Cottage was the perfect getaway for our family! We loved the house so much and took full advantage of the front porch, beautiful back yard, and bikes. The walk to the beach and boardwalk was quick and lovely and the hosts could not have been more welcoming and accommodating. We'll definitely be back next year!

I grew up in Milford, but Rehoboth always felt like home, so I was overjoyed when my parents bought the house on Stockley Street.
I have loved having friends stay here - they are always quite taken with the beauty of the neighborhood and the proximity to the ocean.
I think it will be fun to share the magic of our little place with families who will truly appreciate it.

The town of Rehoboth Beach is special. There is so much beauty in this little town. It has small lakes, it’s close to the ocean, there’s a mile long boardwalk, complete with rides. There are great restaurants and unique shops. It’s a town made for walking and exploring on a bicycle.
Our neighborhood is in a prime location. It’s quiet, it’s safe, it’s beautiful.

So many things! We have a back yard! And off street parking, a screened-in porch. Not to mention the fact that cottages like this are becoming increasingly rare.
This little house has so much soul. Our family and guests feel instantly relaxed and relieved to arrive there.
It’s been our happy place for a very long time.
