Nice weekend getaway

Loved our stay! We had plenty of room for 4 adults. Excellent location and had everything we needed. Communication with staff was prompt and helpful addressing our weather concerns. Would recommend staying here!

Beach getaway

The proximity to the beach - a short walk away - and the hot tub both contributed to a relaxing getaway. The back deck and yard had a nice vibe too. Just a short drive to Chatham. The house was immaculate with plenty of spots to hang out and unwind.

Fall in Cape Cod

Everything about the property was wonderful. We could walk on the beach, see sunsets from beach and upper deck. Plenty of space for 4 people to enjoy. Easy to get into town, great restaurants, we usually did Mac’s.

Great Location, Great House

We’ve stayed at this property once before and it was just as great the second time around. The location is perfect, a short drive into downtown area of Chatham and the private beach is just a short walk down the street. We’ll definitely stay again!

The house was great, not much privacy from neighbors, condo property was well maintained, the beach was not great because it was rocky and extremely difficult to walk in the water, it was noisy because there was remodeling going on next door.

Family Vacation

Beautiful house with a nice big kitchen, comfortable living room, nice deck outside from which we watched foxes and bunnies run by every day. Loved the deck off the master bedroom for watching sunsets. Easy walk to the beach. Central location to all our cape activities. We had bad luck with the weather and the gas fireplace was awesome for warming up. The only thing was the hot tub stopped working half way through and the mattresses are a bit cheap so not the best nights sleep but it wasn't horrible.

Long weekend and a fun wedding (not ours)

Everything was just as advertised and couldn't have been easier. The house was CLEAN and a short walk down to a fairly quiet beach. The big hot tub was an enjoyable feature too. Would absolutely stay here again and would use NEVR again too. Thanks for great stay. Cape Cod never disappoints.

Great stay.

Loved the place. Super clean. Well stocked kitchen for anything you need to cook. Beach a bit rocky/Shelly but had great time and would return.

Family Vacation

We had a great time at this beautiful property. It was very comfortable and clean! Excellent beach access. We did not like having a camera on the deck. It felt like it was intruding on our privacy.

Loved this place!

We were so happy with the house, location and hot tub. It’s a short walk to the beach, a mile from the bike trail and close to great restaurants. I did think it was odd to have to bring our own linens and towels though and strangely there were no plastic bags, Saran Wrap or foil which most rental houses have. That said the place was otherwise wonderful in every way. We will be back.

Cosy, comfortable and great location

A warm and cosy house, literally just 2 minutes walk from the beach. Everything you need in a holiday home, house is well laid out and has all amenities you would need! There are a couple of restaurants in walking distance - one was closed for the season, but the talkative pig was a great find - just book ahead of time! A place we would love to come back to, thanks New England Vacations! Nothing was too much trouble, just brilliant!

An outstanding property!

The Sea Mist is definitely an outstanding house and location. We enjoy the Nantucket Sound area and beaches so this was perfect for us. We had our family of 5 adults and were all quite comfortable (could have fit more). We entertained company with ease. Would be 5 stars except for glitches with the hot tub.

Wonderful Chatham Cottage!

We always enjoy our time in Chatham and our stay at the Sea Mist offered everything we needed. it is a lovely, comfortable home with balcony views of Nantucket Sound. We found the living space open and airy; a wonderful setting to begin and end our day. We were welcomed to the home with a gift bag of essentials which was provided by the owner. This was most appreciated and we used every item. Chatham is a perfect location; a mid-point with easy access to everything the cape has to offer. We never miss Monday night jazz at the Roadhouse in Hyannis. The restaurants continue to impress and we especially liked Pisces in Chatham and L'Alouette by Christian in Harwich. The October weather was beautiful and we enjoyed patio seating for dinner at the Chatham Inn. Of course, our first point of socializing is at Squires. The beautiful fall weather also offered the perfect backdrop for hiking on the many nature trails. A fabulous week and we would certainly stay at the Sea Mist again.

Clean, bright, delightful

Just returned from a week at this lovely property. We were joining friends from overseas. The house is well configured for two families -- we had the two girls in twin beds and the teen boy in the sleeper sofa. Each set of parents got their own room. The kitchen-living room-dining room was a great space for hanging out, though we spent much of our time in the lovely yard. We all loved the hot tub, and the kids had fun on the deck outside their bedroom. They were up there playing Cape-Cod-opoly and other games generously provided by the owners. We also really appreciated the owners' "welcome pack" of dish detergent, etc. Very helpful! The house really IS steps from the beach, though that was the only glitch: we were rather rudely told on one occasion that the beach was private and we were asked to leave. We did not leave, but would be helpful to have this point clarified for future guests. Also: we LOVED The Talkative Pig restaurant. It's a 10-minute walk from the house and we liked it so much we went twice. Don't miss the BLT pizza!
