Sanibel Dream

Our stay was truly amazing! The home was well appointed with everything one needed to enjoy a relaxing time on Sanibel. The homes location to Bowman’s and Blind Pass beach made for an easy, no issues beach day. Also, with Captiva Island so close, we enjoyed many evenings dining out there (Green Flash and Shipyard) and watching the beautiful sunsets. The hosts were very easy to communicate with and provided us a stress free stay. I look forward to a return in the future

A Peaceful Sanctuary

We felt very fortunate to find this immaculate, well-appointed home on a small lake surrounded by natural beauty. The owners were most helpful and generous.

Quiet, Beautiful, Paradise!

We arrived later than planned. Called owners and they were very helpful instructing us on everything we needed to light up this beautiful home and get unloaded. The home was perfect. View from screened porch was awesome. Home is well maintained and has everything you need for a perfect vacation. Nice neighborhood to walk in.

Beautiful, comfortable, private getaway in great location - a real gem!

We rented this home for a month in March, 2013. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived as this property was even better than we had imagined. This home is beautiful, spacious, very clean and well-maintained, located in a very quiet and private nieghborhood. Everything you need for a wonderful vacation from beach chairs and umbrellas to a fully functional Weber grill and fully equipped kitchen is here. The beds are extremely comfortable. There is a great view of the lake from the deck or from the dock with so many birds you'll be amazed. The house is beautifully landscaped, surrounded by native trees and bushes. Just sitting on the decks, either in sun or shade is extremely relaxing. And, oh, did we mention the hammock? The entertainment center leaves nothing to be desired. Bowman's Beach is just about 5 minutes away as is the J. N. "Ding" Darling National Wildlife Refuge. If you bike you don't even need a car to get there. Shopping and restaraunts are nearby. There are many things to do here and all are easily accessible. The owners are very personable, accomodating and wonderful people to work with. One really couldn't ask for more from a rental. We had a wonderful time and will certainly return when we can.

My husband and I have made Vashon Island in Washington State our home for the past 42 years. Yet Sanibel Island has always held a special place in our hearts ever since our first visit 35 years ago. Several vacations later to Sanibel Island our dream came true to purchase a home on yet another very beautiful and unique Island.

Our Sanibel home is located in a very private, peaceful setting surrounded by nature. Fantastic birding from our private deck with views of the lake. Bike trails throughout the island make it easy to leave the car behind. Beautiful Bayou's for kayaking just blocks away!
