Aspen house

This was a convenient & comfortable place to stay. The couch & loveseat were especially comfortable.

Hi Shirley, I am glad you thought my house was convenient and comfortable. I am a little confused about what you mean by “Aspen House” as my house is located on Pine street in Fruita. Fantastic house, Andres is the best host ever! He is so accommodating, we stayed for 2wks & he checked in on us to make sure we were good & to see if we needed anything. We had 2 pickups with trailers & Andres made sure we had adequate parking. If you are considering staying at Rustic Refuge DO IT, you won’t regret it!

Excellent place to crash!

The backyard is a dream for a small family or just anyone who likes to hang in a back yard and enjoy being outside. Extremely kid friendly! We grilled and played in the pool. Very fun. Also a great location for riding into town. Fruita is known as bike hq so you'll likely have a bike anyway. We rode into town multiple times and enjoyed ourselves to some great local drinks and dining. If you're looking for a no frills place to crash and plan to spend most of the time outside this place is perfect. The inside is nice but a bit small with rooms all right next to each other and 1 bathroom with no tub

Location to downtown fantastic, but on a busy street

Great location to walk downtown. The listing and google maps does not accurately describe the street the house is on. It is a major road for this area. Loud cars basically all day and night. Out side of the busy road its a great property with lots of backyard to use. One item of note thats mentioned n the listing but was not clear to me. There is an attached rental to the house that you share a wall with. Other tenants were respectful and we barely knew they were there but it was not clear to me we were in on side of a two family house.

Hunter, Thanks for your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the location and backyard, and that the neighboring tenants were respectful. As for the road, it is a main street, but what qualifies as “busy” can be subjective. This is a smaller town, and many guests appreciate the convenience and accessibility. Regarding the attached unit, the listing clearly states there are two units on the property, each with their own yard and entrance and no shared spaces . Both are completely private. We do our best to be transparent, but we’ll double-check to make sure it’s as clear as possible. Thanks again for staying with us.
