Nestled in a peaceful, forested setting, Heart of Helen is perched on a secluded street just above Main Street, Paul’s Margarita Deck and the Georgia Mountain Coaster. As close as you can get to all the shops, activities, and amazing restaurants – the perfect home base for your alpine getaway!

Alison was the perfect host and her cabin met our every need! It was roomy and cozy at the same time. The beds were comfy and the pool table/rec room was great fun. We walked down the hill to the festivities and for short hikes near by. Incredible location as we never touched our cars again. We cooked dinners and enjoyed the hot tub and with 6 people, everyone had plenty of space. It's a very big place !Will definitely return as soon as we can !

Large, clean, comfortable cabin with game room to share with three couples or family. Two king beds upstairs, two queens downstairs, 3 bathrooms, screened porch with hot tub, well stocked kitchen (coffee pot, Keurig & hot water for tea), comfortable beds….what more could you want? Good central location to everything but… the steep, one car at a time, road with wet leaves and tons of acorns made traction challenging. I don’t think many people can walk up/down that hill!

Beautiful home, just as pictures show. Kitchen was stocked with quality essentials. Furniture was very comfortable. Host was very responsive, which we appreciated greatly! Location was excellent, super close to downtown Helen. Would recommend!

Excellent location for our group of 8 adults. Short walk to the adorable not so little town! (The hill is steep if you walk). We had plenty of space and loved that the porch was screened in. We didn’t eat at the house so can’t comment on anything kitchen related. The host was very communicative and had a very fast response on questions I had (about the town) leading up to the reservation. (One small note - bring bath soap)

The house and location are wonderful! We had 3 generations, so a mixture of adults and early teens. Having the great room and kitchen upstairs and a separate living/entertainment room downstairs allowed everyone to "have their space". Pool table and foosball were a big hit. Loved that we were walking distance down to Main Street, especially if you go during heavy tourist season. House is in very good condition and very clean. Family is already asking when we can go back to Helen!

Excellent Memorial Day Getaway!

We were headed to the north Georgia area for a college tour of UGA for our oldest two children and were looking for a place to spend a few days prior to the tour. We had such a great time at this property. It was amazing to be able to walk to the attractions, shops, and restaurants in Helen and it was also just a short drive all of the other activities and sights in the area. The property was clean and beautifully decorated. We really loved having the pool and foosball tables, hot tub, places to play board games, and plenty of room to spread out. The property also offered complete privacy and was very serene. We highly recommend this property if you are in the area!

We came down for a little spring break getaway and to escape the masters hustle and bustle. This cabin is beautiful and very tastefully decorated. The game room was a huge hit with all the games the kids loved to play and Its within walking distance to downtown. We will be back soon!

Truly one of the most beautiful houses I have stayed in, and it was perfect for our large group. The location is a very short walk away from town, and the privacy offered a lot of peace and quiet! Would recommend!

A perfect getaway in Helen!

We had an absolutely incredible stay at this charming home in Helen! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed by the cutest, coziest decor that made the whole place feel warm and inviting—perfect for our girls’ trip. The house struck the perfect balance of being romantic and cozy, making it ideal for couples or a group of friends like ours.The beds were so comfortable, and the super-soft pillows made it easy to drift off after a fun day of exploring. We spent a lot of time relaxing on the spacious, comfy couch—ideal for lounging, chatting, and enjoying downtime together. But the highlight had to be the hot tub! It was large enough for all four of us to soak comfortably and made for the perfect end to our evenings.Everything about the house was thoughtfully designed to create a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Honestly, we couldn’t think of anything more we could have asked for. The home had everything we needed, and every little detail added to the experience.If you’re looking for a cozy, stylish, and fun spot to stay in Helen—whether it’s for a couples’ retreat or a trip with friends—this is the place. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!
