There was a glitch with the booking and I had to reach out to the VRBO support line who contacted the owner for us because the morning of our scheduled arrival, I still had not received an address, nor directions on how to access the house. The owners were not expecting us at all, but assured us not to panic, that they would take care of everything. And they did. The place was spotless and ready for us when we arrived, and I appreciated that the VRBO called me about three times to ensure everything was OK. The home is gorgeous and clean, with comfortable furnishings and a lovely pool. The owners were incredibly responsive, helpful and kind, even offering suggestions for places to eat and things to see. I also appreciated the owners' patience when I contacted them in a panic because I could not find the utensils. (He came over to show me a 'hidden' drawer that contained everything we needed.)The home and location are gems - close enough to the amenities of Santa Teresa and a five minute walk to the breath-taking beaches of Mal Pais. I would definitely return.
