This vacation condo was exactly what our family needed to enjoy our stay in Indian rock Beach. The beach access was a quick two minute walk. My children loved that they had pool toys, boogie boards, and extra chairs for our beach days.

This condo is amazing. Beautiful interior. The private patio was great to sit out on. Short walk to a very nice clean pool. Kitchen area was well stocked with everything to prepare meals. Everything you needed to hang out at the beach for the day, and it was a short walk to the beach. Beautiful property in a quiet and clean neighborhood. Great communication with the owners. Everything we needed for our 1 week vacation. Highly recomend!

Great property location! Great spot for getting to the Gulf, swimming pool, fishing pier and restaurants. Clean space with all essentials for beach and pool. Plenty of room to sleep 6-8 comfortably. Laundry rooms very close for ease. Great dedicated beach access. Host was extremely helpful. Pool is 8 1/2 ft deep which is great. Heated on top of that. Kitchen had all essentials plus. Would recommend highly.

Family beach trip

Overall great location and spacious rental for a family vacation. Nice property close to the beach and great restaurants etc. Indian Shores is a quieter stretch of the gulf beaches compared to busier St. Pete Beach and Clearwater which was nice and relaxing.

Paradise

The condo was comfortable and well equipped. We loved the quiet setting close to the intercostal and steps from the beautiful beach. We enjoyed eating dinner on the private patio.

Fabulous property and location

We had a wonderful stay in this condo. The location and property were excellent. The pool was beautiful and the beach was nearby so we could enjoy both. The condo had everything we needed (maybe add a couple more wine glasses 😊.) The owners were very helpful in getting us all the information we needed. I would highly recommend staying in this condo.

Absolutely Beautiful

The condo was spacious, clean, and conveniently located to everything. Mario & Lori were wonderful to deal with. They did not hesitate to check on us and make sure our vacation was great. I cannot wait to book again.

Perfect beach vacation

All the comfort of home in an amazing location! Super close to the pool and beach. Plenty of room inside and on the enclosed patio. We used the grill too which was in the courtyard nearby. Saw dolphins in the bay right behind the pool. Plenty of beach/pool toys provided. Only negative was the parking (only 1 space) and we were in 2 cars.

Summer vacation

We have been going to this property for many years. The hosts of this particular condo responded quickly with some concerns (not to be confused with complaints) and took action where needed. The grounds are nice and with water on either side of the property, there is plenty of space for rest and relaxation.

Great location, great place

The place was clean and well stocked. The beach accessories were awesome; enough chairs for everyone, beach toys, wave boards, and wagon to haul all to the beach. Minor issue is only 4 beach towels and 5 people. I am sure if I reached out, they would have provided another towel, but we just shared instead. Will definitely consider booking this location again.

Perfect!!

We had an absolute fabulous stay. The condo was wonderful and had plenty of extras for the beach. The condo was clean, close to the pool, just a short walk to the beach and affordable for a family. We had plenty of space for our family of 5. Mario and Lori are so friendly and very accommodating. We just found our new favorite place to vacation. Thank you so much Mario and Lori!!!

Great place to stay

Mario and Lori were great to work with. There was a little mishap at the beginning and they were on it. Even followed up the next day to make sure that all was good and if they could do anything for us. The place is well stocked with everything you need. Very clean. I highly recommend this condo and working with the owners. A+++.

Indian Shores

We really enjoyed our time at Mario and Laurie’s. It was a nice space for the 4 of us to spread out and each have some privacy. The marina and pool were exceptional as my husband and kids like to fish. It was never crowded but still others around to make it enjoyable. The kitchen amenities were plentiful and they responded immediately when we told them that blender parts were missing and arranged delivery of a new blender that day! They even texted me some travel tips. Pillows could have been a little more comfortable and the shower had some mold in the corners but overall the location, price and space were perfect for our needs. Our intention of using this space was to have a home base for enjoying the outside region, not the inside. Thank you for sharing your space with us. Maureen and family.

Nice location

Beach chair straps were broken making it hard to carry to the beach and 1 beach chair was almost broken. Umbrella was broken. I had to contact the hosts multiple times before our stay to get our check-in details. You only get 2 rolls of TP, 1 roll of paper towels, no shower soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc. We requested a pack n play, which wasn't in the condo and took a day to receive. The hosts tried to charge us for incidentals that we weren't responsible for. The condo was nice and we loved the location and pool!

Hello Tara, I’m happy you liked our condo and the resort amenities. As I shared with you when you booked your condo, I send out check-in instructions a couple days before check-in and after final payment is received. Your check in instructions were sent to you 2 days before your check in date. You contacted me asking for an early check-in, and again to ask for a pack and play. Both requests were granted. Upon arrival you notified me that a pack and play was not in the condo. As I am not on site I could not locate it. However, a new one was purchased and delivered to the condo the next morning. I apologize that the first one was not there when you arrived. In the check in instructions it clearly indicates that basic necessities such as, shower soap, toothpaste and shampoo are not provided and you will have to bring them with you. We provide basic necessities (toilet paper, paper towels etc…) for a few days . We operate as a condo/ resort not a hotel so while our condo is well equipped with all the amenities of home, additional paper products are usually supplied by the guest. The beach chairs do not all have straps. I apologize that the beach umbrella broke. Great condo, great location

This is a clean, spacious, well-furnished, well-decorated condo in a great location. Beds were comfortable. Linens looked new. Kitchen set up and appliances were solid. The bathroom could use a touch up here and there, but the showerhead and water pressure were great. While it was too hot in June for us to really enjoy the fenced-in backyard, it's still a great area to store beach gear and dry swimsuits. The unit is near the back of the complex so it's quiet with no road noise. The beach is a short walk across the road and is very clean. The Gulf water was bathtub warm in Jue and the late sunsets were spectacular. There is really no "resort" in Barefoot Beach Resort. It's simply a condo complex with a pool, which we knew going in and were fine with. It's a well maintained complex but could use some TLC in its laundry rooms. Restaurants, shops, coffee shop, even mini-golf all within walking distance - a rarity in Florida. Solid communication with owners. Will look to return.

Watch out! Will take more money from you

Watch out! I reserved this listing for my family and I. Overall we liked it until we checked out. The microwave plate split in half in the microwave while using it; thru no fault of our own. I notified the owner immediately. Now they are trying to charge my account $150 for incidentals. Literally just took my money out of my account. Also trying to say the towels are damaged. There are no damages towels. I even washed them once at the coin laundry for them. We even washed every dish and put away even tho there were no check out instructions due to them removing their listing for some reason. This is not right. I have rented several properties and have never damaged anything!! This is ridiculous that they can just take money from your account. Beware if you stay here.

Hello Amanda, I'm sorry you did not have a positive experience staying in our condo. We provided you with 4 pages of check-in and check-out instructions so that you would be comfortable during your stay. After you checked out of the condo. I was contacted by a third party cleaning company that sent me photos of the condo, the damaged towels, and the broken convection oven microwave plate. The cleaning company charged me for these damaged items and an extra cleaning fee due to the condition of the condo upon your departure. This is my first negative experience and I'm sorry that this happened. In fairness to both of us the cleaning company was paid the $150 security deposit that you paid when you booked the condo and I paid the balance of the amount that they charged me. The fee charged to you is the security deposit of $150 that you paid when you booked as I am unable to take money out of your account. 99% of the time this amount is automatically returned when condo is left in good condition and there is no damaged sustained to property. I tried to be fair in this situation as I know sometimes unforeseen things happen and its unfortunate.

Everything a couple could want or need for a quick weekend away! Cute little private courtyard, beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers- you name it & they thought of it! (The space was so much bigger than we anticipated & with the extra bedroom, sunroom/bedroom and using the sleeper sofa we would’ve had more than enough room if we’d brought the rest of the family along! (I’m trying to get a group of friends to go back with me already!)

This was the best Barefoot beach resort condo we've ever stayed at!!! Everything was new, and clean and had everything we needed, and more!! Beach chairs and umbrellas, beach toys! The condo was just immaculate and we had the best time ever!! The beds were so comfy! We enjoyed the pool, and being able to walk across the street to the beach! The patio table on the back patio was great for playing cards at night! Will definitely stay again. Thank you for all you've done to take care of that place.... It's amazing! Great memories!!

Bad experience

Las puertas no tienen seguridad, incluso encontré cucarachas en los muebles con arena, el baño y el jabón son horribles.

Hello Lisbety, I’m sorry you did not enjoy our newly furnished condo. Unfortunately, you allowed an exceeding number of people to stay in the condo as opposed to just your family as indicated in your reservation. I apologize that there was not enough room for the air mattresses you brought. An additional day of cleaning was required after your departure as you left the fridge full of spoiled, uneaten food and garbages from your week in the kitchen. Condo resort staff reported doors were kept open at all times, with many people going in and out, which resulted in bugs entering our condo. I’m sorry this happened and I’ve since had it sprayed. Linens were damaged following your stay which resulted in extra charges incurred by me. Unfortunately, not respecting someone’s home may result in situations like this. Hopefully, you have a better experience in the future.
