Family beach trip

Overall great location and spacious rental for a family vacation. Nice property close to the beach and great restaurants etc. Indian Shores is a quieter stretch of the gulf beaches compared to busier St. Pete Beach and Clearwater which was nice and relaxing.

Fabulous property and location

We had a wonderful stay in this condo. The location and property were excellent. The pool was beautiful and the beach was nearby so we could enjoy both. The condo had everything we needed (maybe add a couple more wine glasses 😊.) The owners were very helpful in getting us all the information we needed. I would highly recommend staying in this condo.

Perfect beach vacation

All the comfort of home in an amazing location! Super close to the pool and beach. Plenty of room inside and on the enclosed patio. We used the grill too which was in the courtyard nearby. Saw dolphins in the bay right behind the pool. Plenty of beach/pool toys provided. Only negative was the parking (only 1 space) and we were in 2 cars.

Summer vacation

We have been going to this property for many years. The hosts of this particular condo responded quickly with some concerns (not to be confused with complaints) and took action where needed. The grounds are nice and with water on either side of the property, there is plenty of space for rest and relaxation.

Great location, great place

The place was clean and well stocked. The beach accessories were awesome; enough chairs for everyone, beach toys, wave boards, and wagon to haul all to the beach. Minor issue is only 4 beach towels and 5 people. I am sure if I reached out, they would have provided another towel, but we just shared instead. Will definitely consider booking this location again.

Perfect!!

We had an absolute fabulous stay. The condo was wonderful and had plenty of extras for the beach. The condo was clean, close to the pool, just a short walk to the beach and affordable for a family. We had plenty of space for our family of 5. Mario and Lori are so friendly and very accommodating. We just found our new favorite place to vacation. Thank you so much Mario and Lori!!!

Great place to stay

Mario and Lori were great to work with. There was a little mishap at the beginning and they were on it. Even followed up the next day to make sure that all was good and if they could do anything for us. The place is well stocked with everything you need. Very clean. I highly recommend this condo and working with the owners. A+++.

Indian Shores

We really enjoyed our time at Mario and Laurie’s. It was a nice space for the 4 of us to spread out and each have some privacy. The marina and pool were exceptional as my husband and kids like to fish. It was never crowded but still others around to make it enjoyable. The kitchen amenities were plentiful and they responded immediately when we told them that blender parts were missing and arranged delivery of a new blender that day! They even texted me some travel tips. Pillows could have been a little more comfortable and the shower had some mold in the corners but overall the location, price and space were perfect for our needs. Our intention of using this space was to have a home base for enjoying the outside region, not the inside. Thank you for sharing your space with us. Maureen and family.

Nice location

Beach chair straps were broken making it hard to carry to the beach and 1 beach chair was almost broken. Umbrella was broken. I had to contact the hosts multiple times before our stay to get our check-in details. You only get 2 rolls of TP, 1 roll of paper towels, no shower soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc. We requested a pack n play, which wasn't in the condo and took a day to receive. The hosts tried to charge us for incidentals that we weren't responsible for. The condo was nice and we loved the location and pool!

Great condo, great location

This is a clean, spacious, well-furnished, well-decorated condo in a great location. Beds were comfortable. Linens looked new. Kitchen set up and appliances were solid. The bathroom could use a touch up here and there, but the showerhead and water pressure were great. While it was too hot in June for us to really enjoy the fenced-in backyard, it's still a great area to store beach gear and dry swimsuits. The unit is near the back of the complex so it's quiet with no road noise. The beach is a short walk across the road and is very clean. The Gulf water was bathtub warm in Jue and the late sunsets were spectacular. There is really no "resort" in Barefoot Beach Resort. It's simply a condo complex with a pool, which we knew going in and were fine with. It's a well maintained complex but could use some TLC in its laundry rooms. Restaurants, shops, coffee shop, even mini-golf all within walking distance - a rarity in Florida. Solid communication with owners. Will look to return.

Watch out! Will take more money from you

Watch out! I reserved this listing for my family and I. Overall we liked it until we checked out. The microwave plate split in half in the microwave while using it; thru no fault of our own. I notified the owner immediately. Now they are trying to charge my account $150 for incidentals. Literally just took my money out of my account. Also trying to say the towels are damaged. There are no damages towels. I even washed them once at the coin laundry for them. We even washed every dish and put away even tho there were no check out instructions due to them removing their listing for some reason. This is not right. I have rented several properties and have never damaged anything!! This is ridiculous that they can just take money from your account. Beware if you stay here.

Perfect getaway

the property felt like home away from home....spacious and comfortable... so close to the beach....quiet at night but just a short drive from John's Pass Village....and also close enough to shopping and food. Would definitely stay again.

Had fun but charged extra!!

We loved the condo and had a great time at the beach. However we were charged 150 extra when we got home because the owner claimed that the kitchen appliances were very dirty and needed extra cleaning. This absolutely ridiculous as we barely used them and cleaned them when we were about to leave. We also already paid the cleaning fee. I contacted the owner about the charge and never heard back. We will not be staying there again!!!

Nice relaxing location

The location was nice. Easy access to the beach and the bay. Only thing that would have made it better would be if the pool would have been cleaned (seems like it was not done as it got worse each day). This is no fault to the unit owner but the resort management.
