This cabin is adorable with so many special touches. The hosts had treats for us including a retirement cake for my boyfriend! Talk about going above and beyond! This cabin is very close to town, but completely secluded and private. Several outdoor areas to enjoy. We can’t wait to visit again!

We loved this cabin. Beautiful location, owers were so nice and accommodating. Was closed to Mt. Airy and places we wanted to visit.We had such a great time, we have already booked another visition in September, 2026.

This was my favorite vaca rental I have ever stayed in and I have traveled all over the US and out of the country. The hosts were great and we loved the farm. My Mom and I enjoyed cooking at the cabin and sitting on the porches. I will definately be back.

Wonderful cabin

Our stay here at the cabin was absolutely wonderful!! The property is beautiful and it was fun to see the animals. Our host was very helpful and friendly. We would definitely come back and stay again!

Our impression…perfect! From the quiet still mornings with coffee out in the swing with Mr Jingles to the late afternoon walks to visit the farm animals and enjoy the scenery was a joy to experience. The cabin was perfect. We fell in love as soon as we drove up. We definitely recommend this to anyone!

Small Get away

There not enough stars for this place. Super nice and cozy and perfect location. Very nice landscaping and we loved Mr Jingles he was such a great greeter. We hate to leave but will be back.

A little slice of heaven

Absolutely gorgeous, quite, private, and immaculate! Wonderful hosts, even left us a cake for our anniversary! Fully stocked with everything you'd need! Lots of goats, donkeys, ducks to visit! And only 15 minutes from the adorable town of Mayberry!

We loved our stay!

My wife and I spent 3 nights for her birthday and loved it! She loved the white lights on the porch and sitting on the swing in the evening. We both enjoyed meeting the animals around the property. The cabin itself was so cozy and the bed so comfortable! It is conveniently located to historic Mount Airy and other places. We would definitely recommend!

This property is extra special! The cabin was immaculate and stocked with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay. From the breakfast food and beverages, candy, and the absolutely beautiful landscaping, to the assortment of wildlife that came up to the cabin yard in the mornings, this is the perfect place to relax. The cabin cat, Mr. Jingles, even greeted us at the door each morning and met us when we returned each evening. The cabin is out of the hustle bustle of town, but convenient to everything. Kim and Randy are amazing hosts who treat you like their special guests! We definitely would love to return!!

Great Place

Property was just as described, beautiful and relaxing, the host were wonderful, the location was perfect only a few miles from Mt. Airy. Farm animals was so cute and the biggest surprise was Mr. Jingles the cabin cat who was so cut and adorable, welcoming us each time we came back. Will definitely return again. Rusty and Sharon

A Blessed stay

Great Place in the heart of Yadkin Valley

This Cabin was amazing. It was so serene and quiet, Plus it's right in the midst of Yadkin Valley where you can hit up all the wineries. We enjoyed our stay and will be back again.

Lovely cozy cabin

So enjoyed my stay at the cabin. It is so cozy inside and nestled in such a peaceful setting on a well maintained farm. No detail has been overlooked in the comfort and homey feel of the cabin. I love staying here and will be back soon!

Randy and Kim Hicks built the cabin in 2006. We have put a lot of love and hard work in the cabin to make it extremely nice, landscaped, and very clean.

It was our dream to have a log cabin so we built it on our farm. We have a lot of people coming through to visit Mount Airy or Mayberry. We have enjoyed meeting the people that have stayed. It has been a blessing to us and the people that have stayed.

This cabin is very peaceful. The animals provide a great atmosphere. You are out of town, but so close to restaurants and shopping areas. You are only about 10 miles from Pilot Mountain State Park.
