Small but relaxing

The cottage was small but workable as long as you pack light, cook light or eat out and coordinate bathroom use. Walk out access to a private beach and walking distance to restaurants and a public park along a beautiful beach view road were great! AC was undersized for full unit but good enough to give some relief from direct heat. Overall we had a great family time

We loved our stay in this cozy cottage. It was well stocked with everything we needed. The kids loved being so close to the beach and went shell hunting as often as possible. The breeze coming in at night was the highlight for me. The hatch lock to the basement was really hard to get working (which the owners had notified of and left WD40) but it made accessing the laundry and extra fridge too difficult to be worth it. With the collection of cottages so close together I had worried about noise but it was the opposite. Sooo quiet. The next door neighbor was intent on enforcing every HOA rule and scolded our children for riding their bikes and corrected a neighbor who left a pair of pants out to dry. The rules are very strict and strongly upheld but the result is a very clean, quiet slice of heaven.

Comfortable cabin with a view

Wellfleeter #10, 2 bedrooms for 2 friends, was a comfortably furnished and well-equipped & supplied cabin/condo for the week after Labor Day. While close to other cabins (which might make it too close & noisy during peak season), this one has a view of the water and is just a few steps from Mayo Beach where we enjoyed low tide walks along the shore and watching the oyster farmers at low tide. A great location for exploring the mid-Cape: a few minutes drive to Nat'l Seashore; Wellfleet ocean & bay beaches and ponds; MA Audubon Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Refuge; short drive to unobstructed sunset views at Duck Harbor; walk or drive to the Wellfleet Pier and good restaurants; a bit further drive, walk or bike ride into the village of Wellfleet. A single parking space was only downside, but we parked 2nd car at public lot along Mayo Beach, a 10 minute walk. We highly recommend this rental.

Great cottage on the beach

We had a great stay at this cozy cottage. The house was well stocked with everything you need for the beach as well as a great variety of kitchen items. The wifi worked really well to allow for multiple devices. The beach is 100 feet away and the whole property was really quiet and peaceful. Close to the pier and hiking trails as well.

Nice place to relax

It was a nice place to relax. The beach was beautiful, but the horsefly attacks made it unbearable at times. The best day of all was when there was an onshore breeze that was whipping up the waves. We stood against the sea wall and let the waves splash up on us. As far as the cottage goes, it was nice. It could have been cleaner. The trash buckets in the kitchen and also in the bathroom were dirty. The stove was rusty and didn't look like it would be safe to use, so we didn't. Other than those two negatives it was fine. The kitchen cabinets are all full of dishes, so there isn't any room for food to be stored. We kept our non-perishables in a box on the kitchen floor instead of in the cabinets. It was nice, but I would prefer to go somewhere that has a pool and the ocean next time I rent a cottage at the Cape.
