Our vacation consisted of my husband and I, our two sons and daughter in laws and 2 young grandchildren. This house was exactly as described. Margaret was very attentive to any questions we had and checked in to make sure we were having a great time. Perfect location, not crowded by other close houses, and just 10 minutes from Pigeon Forge. The slope in the yard made for a perfect slip and slide track for the grandkids! We saw bears multiple nights, which was just icing on the cake during our stay! Would definitely recommend this house to others!

We love it. Very convenient to pigeon Forge to Townsend. I liked our tip about going to Dollywood parking at the trolley station close to the old Mill restaurant.. My only suggestion to the hostess would be you need a new can opener and something about the Keurig pod machine this morningWould love to come stay at that cabin again thank you so much wonderful view porch.

Our family had a wonderful time at this cabin. We loved everything about this cabin, it was clean and beds were comfy. Nightly s’mores by the fire pit and hot tub is a sweet treat to end the night. Our host, Margaret was very responsive and helps with all our needs. Thank you, you are awesome. Our family will definitely be back!

This was the BEST cabin we have stayed in by far! The internet worked really great. The scenic views are absolutely breathtaking! The cabin was incredibly clean. There were tons of fun things for our children to do (arcade games, Nerf guns, Playstation, ping pong, board games, and movies on big screen tvs)! We loved the Coffee Bar set up too! Everything was beautifully decorated, and all of the beds and sheets were sooo comfortable and so incredibly soft! My kids also really enjoyed the bunk beds, and we even discovered there were hidden beds when you pulled out the bottom drawer of the lower bunk beds. The navy blue couch was incredibly comfortable too. We also enjoyed the many swings they had all around their deck as we took in the beautiful views. It was so relaxing, and it was nice that the cabin wasn't high up on a steep cliff. It was very easily accessible, spacious, and had a nice covered garage big enough for 2 cars. We can't wait to visit again soon!

Perfect multi-family home

We had a great week in this beautiful, spacious, comfortable, and fun home. Each family (3) had their own area with king beds and full baths. The 5 grandchildren enjoyed the spacious bunkroom. The gamerooms provided much entertainment. The house provides a beautiful mountain view and is minutes from the National Park. The location is less than an hour from many activities and attractions— hiking, tubing, Dollywood, Pigeon Forge, Townsend, Cades Cove, etc. Some shopping and restaurants are minutes away in Wears Valley. Check-in was a breeze, and everything was as pictured and described in the listing. We would love to stay here again in future trip.

I’ve stayed at 20 rentals and maintain a short term rental myself. I’ve never given less than a 4 star review. We arrived at the location and the unit did not have working heat or fireplace. To the owner’s credit, they had a tech come out to fix the heat that night. The heating tech told me they had not turned it on/set it up at all that year. The host justified it not working by saying “ the prior guest didn’t report”.The main issue was multiple broken steps at the location on 2 separate inside stairwells. These were very dangerous and almost caused multiple accidents. The maintenance guy almost hurt himself and said he would make the owner aware of the issue. I was not contacted by the owner at all regarding this, and when I made her known of the issue… she didn’t seem concerned. She also said “I apologize you and I see these issues differently” when I explained the seriousness.I would not recommend staying here if you have any children or elderly or are concerned about your well being. The owner doesn’t check on the property and seemingly only cares about a cashing a check.

I’m addressing the inaccuracies in this review for the benefit of future guests who deserve factual information. Regarding the heating system: You checked in early at 2 PM at your request and as a simple courtesy on my part. You didn’t mention any fireplace issues until 5 PM and then reported a heating issue at nearly 9 PM that evening. I scheduled our fireplace tech for first thing the next morning and immediately contacted multiple HVAC companies to find emergency service availability. The technician who responded had never serviced our property before—he was simply the first available for a late-night call. He would have no knowledge of our system’s service history. Your stay was several months into cold weather, and the heating system had been used by multiple prior guests without any issues reported. Regarding the stairs: You never mentioned the stair treads during your entire 4-night stay. The HVAC technician did not contact me about any safety concerns—if he had witnessed a dangerous condition, he would have been obligated to notify me immediately. You first mentioned the stairs after checkout in a message where you thanked me for “prompt service with the heat issue” and told me your group “really enjoyed the cabin and all the amenities.” Both treads were repaired immediately once I learned of them. Regarding my response: When you requested a refund days after checkout, I explained that we saw the situation differently because every issue you reported during your stay was resolved promptly—heat restored that same night, fireplace fixed by 10 AM the next morning. I offered a late checkout as compensation, which you declined. Our cabin is meticulously maintained, as reflected in our reviews across all platforms. I respond immediately to every safety or comfort concern guests report during their stays—which is exactly what I did for you. I’m sorry to hear that despite all of this you believe we fell short. We do see things differently.

Beautiful house with a peaceful surrounding! After spending busy days out and about it was so nice to come back to the cabin and enjoy the quiet and beautiful views! The one and only thing I would say is the drive way is on the steep side but not a deal breaker. The host was great. Replied promptly and was very friendly. I would definitely stay here again when visiting the pigeon forge area.

CLEAN!!! This was such a great place to stay. The place was more stocked than what I imagined. We had an air fryer and crockpot, which I didn’t expect. The starting supplies were a bonus, but we also brought our own paper towels and toilet paper. The place was spacious, and Margaret was so accommodating and friendly! We had a question one evening, and I messaged her, thinking I’d hear from her in the morning, but she called me within minutes. We absolutely enjoyed the game garage with out boys, 18 & 14. We also loved the view from the porch and enjoyed our coffee out there every morning. There were two things we needed assistance with during the week, and Margaret made sure they were resolved. Everyone had their own space, and there was an abundance of towels and pillows, and everything smelled fresh! The fire pit and hot tub were also an added bonus. I loved that it was quiet and secluded but not far from attractions.I would stay here again! We saw bears and had many meals at the cabin and also had family photos taken here. This was superb!!! Best VRBO experience I’ve ever had.Thank you!

We fell in love with Wears Valley while vacationing in the area at Thanksgiving one year. It was far enough from the hustle and bustle, but still a reasonable driving distance to all of the fun activities. It allowed us to be *IN* the mountains, but not *ON* a mountain. The views are breathtaking, and the area is so nice and peaceful.
