Property was very short driver to Hannaford or Walmart for forgotten items or grabbing food. Just over 10 min drive to Black Mountain. House was clean, comfortable and had good assortment of items in the kitchen. There were some books, games, foosball table and free streaming channels on the tv. The pellet stove is nice for warming up after skiing.

The host responded right away and provided great instructions on getting in to the house and all of the things we needed to know!The house was awesome!! Warm and so, so, clean!!! The area is nice and very quiet with all necessary things close by. We took a drive to the Black Mountain of Maine ski area and could not believe there is a ski area 5 minutes away!!!We couldn't have had a nicer stay! Thank you!

The house is lovely, roomy and well-located for walks, hikes and groceries. It’s very clean and the host was kind and very responsive. On our first full day we got about 10” of snow and he called in a plow without hesitation or a need to ask. We will be back here I’m sure!

We chose this property as a base "camp" for supporting our AT hiker. The location was great for resupplying him and exploring Maine. The house is comfortable and well stocked, especially the kitchen - everything needed to prepare a home cooked meal on nights off the trail. The host responded immediately to any questions with friendly, helpful advise.

Amazing Stay

Our stay was perfect for us and our wedding party! We enjoyed all of it but especially the heated floors in the up stairs bathroom haha no more cold feet after a shower! It was so easy to communicate with our host. We are so incredibly thankful that he was willing to extend our stay a night after!

We were initially given the wrong code to enter the house, but the host responded to our calls in a reasonable amount of time and was able to help us get entry.

Highly Recommend it!

This property was absolutely amazing! We were a crew of 12 down in Maine to Ski Sunday River and this property had everything to accommodate our crew. The place was clean when we got there and it had all the amenities an individual could ask for. The neighborhood was also nice and calm which is always welcoming. Overall, I highly recommend this place to anyone who’s looking to do a ski trip in the area or even to anyone in general. Will certainly keep this place in mind again for any of our future trips down in Maine :)

Comfortable and Clean

We enjoyed the home and it had everything we needed for our stay. The house was very clean. The only thing we would add is lamps in the living room maybe. It was very convenient to town but quiet. We would definitely recommend it and would stay again.

Eclectic and Comfortable

We had five teenagers and two adults. The home offered plenty of entertainment for the kids, room to all eat together and close to amenities in town. Lazar was great to communicate with and every exchange was smooth and straight forward. I would definitely recommend!

Rumford Rental

Nice home in good area. Clean and well stocked with blankets. Lighting could be improved in kitchen, dim bulbs make it difficult to see. The stairs to the bedrooms are shallow so the heel of your foot hangs over the edge or you must place your feet sideways. Also, the bathroom tub has a very wide ledge making it difficult to step into the tub. Because of these issues, I wouldn’t recommend this home to those 70+ or anyone with balance or walking problems. That said, we enjoyed our stay and would book this home again.

Great hiking days!

We were very pleased with the accommodations during our weekend stay. Checking in was super easy and our communication with Lazar was prompt and helpful. After our day of hiking we looked forward to relaxing on the front porch, wine glass in hand, enjoying the shade and the cool breeze. We found everything about the house perfect for us. The wooded floors along with the well done updates in the rest of the house make you feel like home. Would highly recommend this to anyone interested in the Rumford area for summer or winter activities.

An amazing week!!

It was a beautiful house in the middle of the best small mountain town. The views were amazing and the town provided everything that we didn’t bring with us. The house was spotless and so comfortable. We’ll definitely need to keep this property in mind for booking next year’s getaway. Thank you so much!!

Visiting family

The house is the perfect location for visiting my parents and extended family in Rumford/Mexico. My favorite was mornings on the big front porch. The beds are comfortable. We didn’t need use of the kitchen but it seemed very well equipped. Everything was very clean. And the host was great!

Love What They've Done Here

It's a cute house that they've made really fun with the decor. Wifi, TV, games, it's all here. It was just the two of us and we were only there overnight, but if I ever needed a place to stay in Rumford again, this would be my first choice.

Great location for getting around

Property was at a central location to allow us to see family that lived in different parts of the state. It is large enough that we had a couple friends join us that hadn't been to Maine before. Overall the house was clean and had a fun decorating style that we could relate to. The Host was great at communication and gave some excellent recommendations. Bonus was that Rumford was on a major gateway to seeing the 2024 eclipse. We would definitely recommend staying at this property in Rumford for any future visits.

Great location. Easy access to Black Mountain of Maine approximately 9 minutes and Sunday River is about 25 mins from my house. Grocery store is down the street that sells liquor and few local restaurants as well.
Newly renovated and cozy.
