Location, location, location. This place definitely has that in spades. Mere blocks from the hustle of downtown but far enough away for some quiet. The private deck is worth the slightly worn condition of the bathroom and kitchen. Bed is not firm but that’s a personal preference; my boyfriend thought it was just fine. Manager was very welcoming with text updates and prompt response to requests.

The property was in a really neat renovated older building. It was in a great location, walkable to shops, restaurants and the riverfront! It was on the second level with some pretty steep stairs, but otherwise very comfortable and had a huge deck that was awesome!

The location was key for us - walking distance to mostly everything and designated parking. It is above a boutique grocery store and attached to an outdoor rental company with paddle boards and bicycles. The unit was clean and just as we expected. There was a very large outdoor space where we spent a lot of time.

Love Saugatuk. Exceptional value. Amazing building character, location and the unit had all the amenities needed and then some. Great kitchen and furnishings. Could use a new boxspring. Loved the huge private deck, gazebo and lights. Love Michaels store next door that rents bikes, e bikes, paddle boards and kayaks and offers amazing excursios. Amazing extra value. This is our 2nd time here and we will be back again.

Cozy getaway close to everything!

The Treetops apartment was the perfect place for our romantic getaway weekend! We were so close to great shopping and food, a nice little park, and even a bike rental shop. The apartment was nicely appointed and maintained, and clean. The deck was amazing, perfect for relaxing with coffee in the morning or an al fresco dinner! I would remove a half star because the electric grill didn't work, there was no oven mitt, the fan in the bedroom was loud, and the bed was squeaky. But the rest of it was so great, it mostly made up for those minor inconveniences.

Great place, perfect location

We loved our stay. The location was perfect, we parked our car and didn't need it all weekend except to go to the beach. The rooms were spacious and we LOVED the rooftop deck. We spent most of our time there, it was like our own little garden!The condo was very clean and had all the kitchen utensils we needed to make a few meals. The dishwasher was a nice bonus!A couple things for others to be aware.... the steps up and down are a little steep and the bathtub/shower has a large step to get in... these things didn't bother us but if you have knee or back issues it might bother you.This is a great place, you won't be disappointed if you stay here!

Great weekend getaway!

This apartment was so cute and perfect forOur weekend getaway. The deck is beautiful but unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate so we didn’t get a chance to spend as much time out there as we would have liked. Location as well was also great - a short walking distance to all shops and restaurants. Highly recommend!

This apartment was perfect for our weekend getaway to Saugatuck. It was so comfortable and the location was ideal. A very short walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. If only the weather were better to enjoy the beautiful deck! Highly recommend this place!

Beautiful loft with a very spacious upper deck. My husband and I enjoyed everything. Plenty of amenities from the electric fireplace to the kitchen accessories to the toiletries. Thanks for hosting!

Nice location

The apartment looked like the pictures but the bathtub/shower had mold on the edges and the bed fwlt more like a fullsize. Great location and overall nice space.

Family getaway

I would love to stay here again!! The location was just as described and pictured! The walkability to the shops and restaurants was 10/10! The large deck offers so much possibility as well as the cozy fireplace-something for any kind of weather! It was a great getaway for my husband my daughter and I! Saugatuck is a short ride from other towns, beaches, dune rides, and sunsets!

Sisters weekend

It was the perfect setting for the four of us. Right in the middle of town, yet private and quiet. A beautiful tree lined balcony you could use the whole time. Reading my book in the morning while others slept in. And gathering in the evening with all of us to chit chat about our excursions of the day. Walking distance to breakfast dinner shopping and the chain ferry around the block. We had a wonderful weekend!

Great location!

This location was so convenient for enjoying the area on foot and by car. We felt at home immediately and would love to visit again when it’s warmer to take advantage of the huge private deck.

Nice Place to Stay in the Heart of Saugatuk

This property is in a wonderful part of Saugatuk and we really enjoyed our time on the large, well-equipped deck. The bed was comfortable and the unit was very clean. As a previous guest stated there are significant stairs to get to this unit (21 stairs with narrow tread and quite steep). Also, the dining space is rather cramped by the living room furniture. We were able to overcome this by using the deck table which was larger and had more room around it. We also experienced variability and some drop-outs with the Wi-Fi. When trying to reach the property contact through VRBO we were told to contact other individuals directly.

Anniversary Trip

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. The location of the property was perfect. We were able to walk to wherever we wanted to go and could easily get back to the property to drop off purchases or use the bathroom without disrupting any other plans. And the deck… it’s amazing. It was unseasonably warm for the end of September so we were able to sit outside to play games and enjoy a cocktail.

An absolute gem, hidden in plain sight

First time to Saugatuck (incredibly), and despite the good things I'd heard, this exceeded all my expectations. The pics in the listing are very accurate, but don't really do it justice; you really have to see the space. The unit sits at the back of a commercial building on the 2nd floor (ergo, "Treetops"), and the first thing we noticed is the incredibly tall ceilings at 12'. All surfaces were neat and clean, with furniture scaled to the space, but the real star of the listing is the deck. New to the listing and not pictured is a brand new gazebo with wrought iron look metal and fabric chairs, and metal table; both sitting on a new area carpet, plus a pair new chaise lounges for sunning or reading. Planters with flowers surround the deck railing, all fed by an automatic drip irrigation setup. What we experienced was total privacy (surrounded by trees) but wide open exposure to sunlight and fresh air. Mornings were a celebration of fresh coffee, tasty morsels, absolute quiet. Located right in the city's shopping district, we were able to park our car and walk to any of the 30+ restaurants in the area, as well as the absolute cutest shops, art galleries, houses, inns, and cottages we've ever seen. Vintage charm with none of the big city intrusions like chain stores or anything commercial. We're already making plans for next year!!

Amazing Property with Perfect Location

The deck is worth the trip alone! Bigger than it looks in the pictures. The grill was perfect for our family- we were able to cook at home every night. (And sun bathe during the day) Great location, walking distance to shops, restaurants, boat rentals, bike rental, yoga, etc! Speaking of bike rentals- Elements Rental is right downstairs and the owners are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. Owners of property are friendly, responsive and made sure our stay was perfect. Plenty of space, slept our whole family easily. (Pullout couch is not the most comfortable) Will return and would highly recommend!
