We could not find the suite because the number was missing and the Web did not have any directions where and how to locate the suite. The place was dusty. The bathroom ms were nice, but in one the shower curtain was short and I almost slipped when I got out of the shower.

The unit was very nice and had all the amenities we needed. It is very close to the beach and to the pier. The space was very quiet and felt very safe. The pool was nice, but it was cold out and we were unable to get the heat turned on for it. We were told we had to pre-pay for that feature. I looked back through the listing and all my emails and never found that data anywhere. That would have been nice to know a lot sooner. The unit we had was in the back and upstairs. The unit number was missing and it was late, so we struggled to find it for about 15 minutes. The local phone number fixed on the door wasn't answered (again, because it was late), but luckily the text I received earlier in the day had a 24-hr customer service line. They were very helpful. The code for the door didn't work, but customer service gave me the code for the lock box, which had the key in it. A layout of the building would have been helpful, especially because when you first pull up it gives you units 4-7 on the bottom directly in front of you, and units 1-2 upstairs directly in front of you. All in all, I would stay here again. The price was worth the comfort and the feeling of security.

Needs updating

Tybee Trip ReviewIt started with the lockbox. There were no instructions on how to use the lockbox and there was no code to open it. I had to email & call 4 different people before I could even get the code. Once I got it open there was no room key, only the pool key which we didn’t even need because the pool was always unlocked. On to the pool, it was not heated at all and it was actually very cold. The TV in the small bedroom would NOT turn off at all. Thankfully I could change the channel. The TV was on when we got there, but we just figured they forgot to turn it off, but no such luck. I normally sleep with the TV on or I would have been very upset that I wouldn’t have been able to sleep. The lock on the door is a joke! Needs a deadbolt! The little chain could not keep someone out if they wanted in. There was no silverware, plates/bowl’s or cups. Luckily my Aunt was prepared and she had all the stuff we needed, but the guest next door didn’t have anything either. They had to go buy the stuff they needed. The front bathroom shower was only cold water and my Aunt just about froze trying to take a shower. The craziest thing was the ladies next door to us were having a lot of the same issues. They never did get into their lockbox. We ran into another guest and they also had some of the same problems. I understand the property is under renovation’s, but there are some things that need to be fixed before being rented out .

Thank you for your review, Michelle. We regret to hear your recent stay did not meet your expectations. We sincerely apologize for the issues you had with the lockbox, TV, lock, and lack of kitchen items. Our property manager confirms the e-lock is working properly. The backup key was in the lockbox by the door. The lockbox code works, and the key works properly. The other issues will be checked and addressed by our maintenance team. We hope to have a chance to host you again and provide you with a much more enjoyable stay in the future.
