Coquina Moorings 206 is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized prior to your arrival. We pay special attention to high touch areas like remotes, light switches and doorknobs, etc... All bedding is professionally laundered and sanitized with fresh clean comforters or duvets.

Coquina Moorings, located at 1407 Gulf Drive South in Bradenton Beach offers the best of all worlds. This unique bay front complex features a beautiful heated pool directly on the bay and a boat dock for boating and fishing enthusiasts. Immediately across the street is the white, sandy beach and the Gulf of Mexico. This spacious unit is located on the second floor and features two bedrooms, two baths and a den. There is a large screened lanai off the living room and master bedroom with spectacular bay views. An additional smaller lanai off the guest bedroom features wonderful views of the Gulf. This is a great unit to watch both the sunrise AND the sunset!

All amenities are provided for your convenience. It sleeps four with a king size bed, a queen size bed. This unit features a "smart" 50” television in the living room as well as a 24” television in the master bedroom and a 32” television in the den.

This is a very popular Bradenton Beach complex so you’ll want to book early.

Coquina Moorings is a one week minimum rental please.
Parking is limited to two vehicles.

July 4th Week

We enjoyed our stay and really have no complaints. The location is the best on the island having the bay out your patio door and the gulf out the front door. The beds were comfortable and the showers had really good pressure. The unit is dated but was clean and the AC worked well. The pool is very nice and well maintained. The July 4th parade was a first for us in the 14 years we have been coming down and we enjoyed it from the balcony and we laughed from start to finish watching the squirt gun battles between the parade participants and spectators…it was so much fun!!! We would definitely rent this unit again without any worries what so ever!

Great but the Rugs Have to Go

Everything was either great or manageable (a sliding door handle was broken and they had some issues with the AC but it was cool for the most part), BUT the rugs in the bedrooms were filthy. We had to leave a pair of socks at the entrance to the bedrooms so that the bottom of our feet did not turn black.

Beautiful ocean and bay views!

We enjoyed our stay. The condo has two balconies, one overlooking the gulf of Mexico and the other one the Bay of Sarasota, which is rather unique. We did not pick up at the time of booking that there was no elevator, but the views and convenient location made up for having to climb 4 flights of stairs. The blinds to the balconies kept falling off when operating them, but at the end of our stay I attached them back into position. They just need to be replaced down the line. We loved that there was a Keurig coffee machine in addition to the traditional coffee maker. We appreciated the Spectrum cable television, so we could watch our normal shows. We would love to go back, this condo has a lot to offer.

The blinds wouldn’t close, most of the lights were burnt, and all the furniture was the cheap stuff from the 80s....and all the mirrors was a bit much. Talking with other guests who have stayed in this rental nothing have been updated/changed in 13+ years unless it was completely broken

Beautiful location but unit could use some repair

We loved being steps from the beach, having access to the dock so we could bring our boat and having a nice size pool at our disposal. The condo could use a little work. Many of the power outlets didn’t work, the TV didn’t work, the fan in the living area and on the patio didn’t work. The coffee table looks to have broken many times and the glass top falls off very easily, not ideal with children, also one of the dinning room chairs was broken. The beds were very old and uncomfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with plates, utensils and everything we needed to cook. There were plenty of blankets, pillows and towels to go around. Location is key, this is the perfect spot to watch the sun rise and set each day.

Roomy condo with 2 water views for sunrise and sunset

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed our stay at Coquina Moorings, despite less than ideal weather. From there we could walk along the beach or road to restaurants, a lovely park, & boutique shops. Indoors we found plenty of room for us and, at different times, our two sons and their partners. We found plenty of kitchen equipment and were able to cook almost anything we wanted. The only appliance missing was a toaster oven which we did buy for our own use, to save having the stove on frequently. There is a Keurig machine which we didn't use, and an electric mixer and blender which we did. Covered parking saves the car from excess heat and rain. Mostly the place was very quiet but it is not well sound proofed, so could get noisy if it is full. One alert: I understand there is to be major sewer construction on the beach across the road (Cortez beach) for the next year or so, which could make for less desirable conditions. We were unfazed by the repairs being done at the complex while we were there, as the workers were mostly unobtrusive except for a lift machine which beeped much of the time when in use. The furniture in the unit is very dated, including an 80's style wall unit for the TV, limiting the size of the TV significantly. We had some trouble with "ghost ants" despite a visit from the exterminator, but there were no serious insect problems, not even mosquitoes. The screened porches, front and back, are lovely!

The 80’s called and they want their Condo back

Promptly answered all my questions and concerns. The condo in the other hand needs a complete overhaul. It’s unfortunate that other condos in the area rent for similar price or less and are updated and clean. The condo is dirty and very outdated. Nothing has been updated since the 80’s which os why it is so dirty. The dirt is not from the cleaning company not doing their job. The carpet is so old it is permanently stained and dirty. Some of the furniture is taped together with scotch tape. The blinds do no open or close so you sleep with glaring light in your face. The futon cannot be used safely, it is being held together with construction tape and you have to add a large foam mattress located in the closet to make is semi bearable to sleep on. I do not consider it a true 6 person condo bc of the futon situation. The only plus is the location of this condo. We visited other condos in the same location and they have been updated taking pride in their investment. The other condos rented for the same week $300 cheaper. We will definitely contact that property in the future. We feel the vacation rentalComponer should not represent this condo until the owners update this unit. I can honestly use the word disgusting when describing this unit. We did see the pictures posted and thought we were getting outdated furnishings. We got outdated furniture, broken blinds, very dirty carpet that is not cleaned with a vacuum, it is years of grime, furniture that is help together with construction tape and scotch tape. The condo is definitely on the WILL NOT RETURN LIST FOR US unless it is remodeled.

We had a wonderful time, and the Conquina Moorings location is awesome, just inside the bay and just across the street from the ocean.The facilities were great, accomodating and spacious. The check in process was less pleasant than we were expecting (we were not able to get into our room until over two hours after our check in time), but we saw the effort made to be accommodating considering the COVID19 precautions.The staff was very friendly, we will certainly be back!

For us it’s all about the beach and the view from the balcony. This spot delivered both with the unique ability to walk across the street and leave our chairs there while we went back to our place to have lunch on the huge back balcony that sits on the bay. Amazing sunrises every morning. We also loved that we could walk to restaurants and shops rather than drive. This was Easily one of the best vacations we have had and this unit and the staff delivered.

Have to agree with a prior vacationer's review regarding , in that the unit would be much better if only a few minor improvements were made: 1. Replace the carpet in the bedrooms 2. Replace the very old vertical blinds with drapes. The living room blind is not functional at all - wide open and won't close. Master blinds closed, but can't open them. Both living room and master BR have pieces of the blinds laying on the floor in each room. 3. The futon is not functional - won't fold out, held together by electrical tape. Having said that, we really enjoyed our stay.
