Jessica, we take feedback like this seriously. We didn’t receive any message during your stay, so we weren’t given the chance to step in and fix things in real time. If we had known about the heat or anything else, we would have addressed it right away. We have routine pest control in place, but we’re following up again to make sure everything is handled properly. The same goes for checking the mattresses and the HVAC. For future guests, this is a shared property setup, so there can occasionally be some noise from neighboring units, but we do our best to keep things respectful and quiet. Hello Lisa, Sorry the stay didn’t meet your expectations. When you mentioned the sheets, I offered to send the cleaner back right away but you declined. We use the same cleaner regularly and haven’t had issues like this before, but I still would’ve fixed it on the spot. We do routine pest control, but being in Miami, bugs can still happen from time to time. If we know, we take care of it quickly. The mother-in-law suite in the back is mentioned in the listing and check-in message, just so everything is clear upfront. I also tried to stay responsive throughout. I’ll be honest, with all the questions before check-in, I was trying to make sure everything was covered so your stay went smooth. When you decided to leave early, I sent a partial refund for the unused nights to be fair. I wish we had the chance to fix things while you were there. We always try to make it right.

Appreciate the feedback. We sent a handyman out right after and he confirmed the burners and heat were working at the time of inspection. We also went through and replaced any missing or blown bulbs to make sure everything is fully dialed in. We didn’t receive any message during the stay about these issues, which would have allowed us to fix them right away while you were there. We’ve double checked everything since and have it all in good shape for future guests.
