We stayed for a month and had 2 couples joins us at different times. Had a great time exploring the area. NPR is a cute town with lots of restaurants. Tarpon Springs is probably 15 minutes away and Clearwater Beach is about 45 minutes. We also drove up to Homosassa Springs and Crystal River to see the manatees and that was great. Save some money and see them at the park in Homosassa for $13, rather than a more costly guided tour. We actually saw more that way. The inside of the house is cute and comfy and the beds are great. The neighborhood is interesting. The back yard is nice and big, but the outside of the house could use some maintenance. The listing says there’s a wood stove, but we didn’t see any. An earlier review states that there are no bbq tools, and that’s true. We didn’t have enough towels for our guests and there were no dish towels. The host offered to drop more off, but we would have to wait a couple days so bought some myself and took them home with me. The house was equipped with the bare minimum, so be ready to grocery shop. The host was quick to respond and friendly.
