Cute condo on a beautiful beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second year staying at this condo. It’s right on the beach and above the heated pool. The view is beautiful. We spent a lot of time on the patio. It’s very comfortable and very warm most days. Unfortunately the condo above us was being renovated. Also work was being done in the parking garage below us. It was very noisy the first two weeks of our stay. We spent more time on the beach where all we could hear were waves.

Great and convenient

We were there to celebrate a birthday. We had a few condos in the complex which made it convenient. Property was perfect for me and my teenage boys.

Perfect weekend!

The condo was just as described….so cute and comfortable. It had everything we needed. The beach was beautiful and not crowded at all. I loved that beach chairs were included in the rental. The area was perfect… close to Destin which is where we drove to eat dinner. We will definitely go back to stay in this specific condo!! Thank you for a great relaxing weekend!!

The condo was very clean upon arrival. We had one light bulb out and brought it to the attention of the front dest and they immediately fixed it with no problems! The walk to be beach was short, the covered parking was wonderful. There were great places to eat near by too!

Relaxing with many Resources!

The condo is bright and clean, decorated for Florida living. Views of ocean and skyline are amazing. Sand is soft, white and so perfect for walking the beaches. Staff are responsive and very helpful! Appreciated the passes for golf and activities. We definitely will return next year.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Clean but out dated condo. Great location. Toilet sounded like the pressure was going to make it explode when flushed. Too much light spilling into master bedroom from elevator light..even with curtains pulled. Had to do a 10 pt turn to get my truck out of deck when deck was full. Overpriced in my opinion.

My wife loves the white, powdery sand, clear water, and free dolphin tours. I really enjoyed the free golf. The condo had great beach service and every night the pool was cleared out by about 2130. The negatives about the room was it was right next the elevator which was right by the bedroom so we could hear everyone coming and going. Condo was very clean and well furnished. Great view. Nice staff. Close to restaurants and touristy stuff.

The furniture was so dirty the armrests were black and gray, all the dishes were dirty, ceiling fan globe went flying off in master when turned on. Stayed in this building 3 prior times and as a repeat customer owner Ron Shorey refused any partial refund and the manager only offered to clean the 30 year old furniture which could not be cleaned, the pictures were taken when it was new, very deceitful do not use Brooks and Horey

Nice family facility.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice facility. Room was as described. 2nd floor is a big plus. Elevators are quick. Parking spaces are nice size, very convenient and under cover. Great family area. Our first time at Fort Walton. 6 miles from Destin. Only complaints were, the pools are a little small. The fitness area is WAY outdated. Only 3 machines one didn't work. But overall a very nice family friendly facility. Talked to many other tourist that have been coming back for years. We will be back. We will check other dates the time we were there was a bit too pricey. Oh, and free movies.

Condo #205’s location was terrible. Would not recommend it.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was clean. The location of the condo by the elevator and over the pool was terrible. It was constantly very noisy. Especially, the pool. We understand children are there to play in the pool and have fun but the constant loud screaming was too much. There should be some type of noise rule and it be enforced. Kids are just playing and having fun but this particular group of parents and children were way over the top. We loved the location of the facility. Several good restaurants within an easy walking distance. The beach chair attendants were phenomenal. Excellent service. We would stay again but definitely not in condo #205. When we booked we were not told the condo was directly over the pool and across from the elevator.

Great location

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall stay was good. The location was great. Easy to enter/exit. Bed was comfy. The condo is above the pool and it could be quite noisy at times. However, at night it would be less noisy so that was ok. The only negative comment I must leave is the condo complex is open to people parking and using the facilities like the pool and entrance to the beach and the garage. The only place a code was needed was to the pool restrooms! No code was needed for the garage parking nor to pool area which leads to the beach. We never felt insecure, however, we didn’t like the openness that was easily available to non renters/owners. We did like the keyless entry to our condo. The condo was very clean just needed a few updates like a towel bar in bathroom closest to bedroom. Plenty of soft towels which was nice. Great fridge and ice maker. Staff friendly. We loved the sea blaster snorkel and dolphin cruise. Thanks for the free ticket. It was fun, overall stay was good

Thank you for your review and feedback. Although Gulf Dunes is not a gated are, it is not open to the public. Parking permits are required to park in the parking area and the garage spots are reserved for specific units. The HOA employees staff to monitor the common areas also. We are glad that you enjoyed your stay and hope you will come visit again.
