Enjoy your own private retreat in this recently updated freestanding one-bedroom condo on Lake Barkley, complete with a peaceful back deck surrounded by trees and wildlife. The bedroom features a king-size bed with a flat-screen TV, while the living area offers a sofa sleeper, 44” flat-screen TV, and a cozy gas fireplace, making it perfect for both relaxing summer stays and warm winter getaways. A new heating and cooling system ensures year-round comfort, and the fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, and thoughtful touches like a coffee maker, propane grill, and patio dining set provide all the conveniences of home. Guests will also enjoy internet, cable, and access to resort amenities including outdoor and indoor pools, a marina with boat and kayak rentals, playground, tennis courts, fitness center, spa, and nearby shops and restaurants. This non-smoking, pet-friendly condo is just a short walk from the lake, pool, and marina—an ideal destination for a relaxing lakeside escape.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We locked our doors the first night and couldn’t get it unlocked the next morning. We called all the numbers and no response. We climbed out the window. We had to leave the window open as it was a roll out. We found the maintenance guy who was super nice. They had it fixed when we returned that evening. We go to ky lake several times a year. We usually stay at KDV. We thought GTB would be more updated and cleaner. We were wrong. Will not stay here again.

Love the community

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay. It was peaceful and quiet and being from Florida it was nice to see the leaves changing and the chill in the air. The property managers were great. Trash was always picked up daily and community is super clean.

Good trip and location. I would just stay in a different cabin.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Good trip and location was great. However, the cabin had several mouse traps, some open traps and some closed poison traps. Since we took our dogs I didn’t appreciate the traps being left out in the open. The last night, we were up most the night hearing what we suspected to be a mouse. The mattress was very uncomfortable and under closer inspection, I found that the mattress was upside down with a topper layed on top. I would stay in this location again, I would just get another cabin.

Good Short getaway

We very much enjoyed our stay at Green Turtle Bay Resort. The condo we stayed in was very clean. The only thing that could have been better is the couch and chairs are very uncomfortable. This is minor, but just a thought for the owner to think about and also could use a few updates.
