This is a gorgeous house with the most beautiful views and surroundings. The kids and adults both enjoyed the massive downstairs level with the super fun game room, and we managed to squeeze in a movie night to enjoy the large projector screen in the movie area. We enjoyed sunset views from the hot tub, spent a little time in the dome (would be so fun in winter), and enjoyed the views from both the indoor and outdoor dining areas. It’s honestly tough to take advantage of all the amenities of this place and we all wished we had more time even after a 5 night stay. We were about 15 minutes from a great beach spot and cove at Bass Lake, and about 25 minutes to the Yosemite gate. We spent time in both areas and the house was perfectly located. We had to reach out to the host a couple times with questions and he always responded super quickly.

Hi Carisha, Thank you so much for such a thoughtful review! We’re really happy to hear that you and your group had such a great stay and were able to enjoy so much of the home during your time here. We also really appreciate you mentioning how responsive we were. We always want our guests to feel comfortable reaching out whenever they need anything, so that truly means a lot to us. It sounds like five nights still wasn't quite enough! 😊 We’d love to have you back anytime and hopefully give you more time to enjoy everything next time. Thanks again for staying with us, Carisha!

The host was very responsive to all our questions; we heard back right away when reaching out to him. The home was in a great location at the top of a hill with a great view of the valley below. I've never heard of a Geo-dome but it was a hit with the adults and kids; a quiet getaway to enjoy the outdoors and stay warm at the same time.. was especially nice to hear the sound of the rain. We enjoyed our after dinner family walks and got some much needed exercise as it was a slight uphill climb to get back to the house. Highly recommended if you enjoy the outdoors along with peace and quiet!

Thank you Laura, for taking the time to review Lazy Realm! I’m so glad that you enjoyed the peaceful forest surroundings and the geo dome, it’s especially nice during the chilly months. And thank you for mentioning the beautiful valley view, the pictures really don’t do it justice! It was such a pleasure hosting you, and we’d love to welcome you back whenever you are in the area.

Danny, the host, was incredibly responsive and helpful. The information provided about the house was timely and made our check in and check out seamless. Danny even had a kitchen item, that we needed, delivered within a couple hours so we could cook our Thanksgiving dinner. The game room is amazing. The house was super clean and the house was wonderfully decorated. I would recommend this house, we had a wonderful stay.

Erin, thank you so much for the lovely review — it truly made my day. 💛 I’m so glad everything went smoothly for your Thanksgiving stay, and it meant a lot to be able to get that kitchen item to you so dinner could go on as planned. Hearing that you enjoyed the game room, decor, and how clean the house felt makes us so happy — we put a lot of heart into creating a space families can enjoy together. Thank you again for choosing our home and recommending us. You’re welcome back anytime, and we’d love to host you again on your next mountain getaway! 🌲🏡

Exceptional stay. The host was always fast in addressing all questions and concerns. The home was immaculate and provided everything we could have wanted or needed. The locations was at the same secluded and conveniently located to Bass lake, local hiking, and of course Yosemite.

We’ve rented a number of places that can accommodate a large number of people. There are 17 members in our extended family. Our grandchildren range in age from 18 months to 11 years. This place was probably the most fun rental we’ve experienced. The kids had a lot of fun in the game room. The setup easily handled all of us. We appreciated the large capacity washer and dryer! This rental was a great value for the price.
